That's not a bad ball. It is just outside off stump and Rahul has hit through the line. A beautiful shot.

It's all or nothing for India so far!
After another dot ball to start Parnell's second over, Rahul plants the next ball over deep mid-wicket for six. No run from seven balls and then he makes that look so simple!

You wouldn't think it was a T20 match the way these India batters have begun this innings. But I don't think it is such a bad plan to get used to the conditions.
Ind 6-0
Nearly a magnificent catch! Rohit Sharma pumps the ball back at Rabada. The bowler sticks out a right hand in his follow-through but the ball bounces out.
No much more Rabada could do. Those ones either stick or they don't - obviously.
Nine balls, no runs turns into 10 balls, six runs for India!
Rabada had started well, picking up where Parnell left off but when he digs in the short ball, Rohit hooks it over fine leg for a maximum.
It wasn't a bad bouncer, either, Rabada followed the India skipper as he tried to give himself room but the batter still managed to put it into the stands.

What Wayne Parnell does well is attack the stumps. He is not slow, but he is not express. However, he certainly has the skills for white-ball cricket.
Another beauty from Parnell. This one snakes past the outside edge with Rahul unsure whether to play forward or back.
Rahul wants a single after defending the last into the cover but Rohit sends him back. Maiden to start. Well bowled, Wayne Parnell.
Very good start from Parnell. The left-armer finds a good area from ball one and after KL Rahul plays inside the line of the first couple, he is made to play at the third. Digging it out into the covers.
Play and a miss! Superb from Parnell, finding a bit of extra bounce and this time Rahul does have a poke at it. Just past the outside edge.

What an atmosphere we have building here. It is shaping up to be a cracker.
It will be interesting to see how Rohit Sharma starts here as a few of the captains in this tournament have been underperforming.
Rohit Sharma walks out to the middle in this his landmark, erm, 36th T20 World Cup game.
The India skipper will be at the non-striker's end with KL Rahul to take the first ball. Wayne Parnell has the new ball for South Africa.

By his own exceedingly high standards, the past couple of years have been a struggle for Virat Kohli.
However, he returned to form in sensational style to lead India to victory over Pakistan at the MCG - hitting an unbeaten 82 from 53 balls - and followed it up with a classy 62 not out from 44 balls against the Netherlands.
South Africa have a fantastic seam attack but, in this form, even they may find it tough to trouble Kohli.
India: Rohit Sharma (capt), KL Rahul, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Dinesh Karthik (wk), Ravichandran Ashwin, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Shami.
South Africa: Temba Bavuma (capt), Quinton de Kock (wk), Rilee Rossouw, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Tristan Stubbs, Wayne Parnell, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi.
Both teams make one change to their XI from their last games. South Africa have gone for seam over spin with Lungi Ngidi back in place of Tabraiz Shamsi.
Meanwhile, India have brought in Deepak Hooda with Axar Patel dropping out. That means their top seven is made up entirely of right-handers.
South Africa captain Temba Bavuma: "We've had a good start to the tournament, even though we've only been able to get one result.
"We probably would have batted first too. Under lights it might be a bit difficult to bat and the ball might swing a bit but we have the responsibility of bowling first and we obviously want to restrict them and make the most of conditions.
"These conditions are similar to what we're accustomed to and we believe we've got the players to exploit it."
India captain Rohit Sharma: "It is a good surface. We know what to expect from this pitch. There's been a few games here so we know what we need to do.
"It is an important game from where the tournament stands. But nothing changes, we just need to come out and do what we have done in the last two games and trust your instinct. In a game like this is can be easy to get carried away but it's important to stay calm and execute your plans."
Temba Bavuma calls heads, but it lands on tails.
Rohit Sharma has little hesitation in opting to bat first.
Two games down, one to go on this bumper Sunday of T20 World Cup action - and it's a real heavyweight clash to round things off as India take on South Africa.
Rohit Sharma's side have won their first two games, while only the rain was able to prevent South Africa doing the same.
These are the two favourites to progress from Group 2 and whoever wins today in Perth will go a long way to making sure of that.
