Moeen's in such good form and he's just picking up from where he left off with England and that fastest fifty a couple of weeks ago.

The runs keep coming as the Rockets stick with spin.

Moeen carves Carter through the off-side for four and after a couple of near-misses for Hammond, aerial shots just evading the fielders, the opener drills the last ball back down the ground for four.

Only a single from Rashid's other four balls in that set. It really is an intriguing battle but Moeen looks locked in at the moment. Rockets beware...

SIX! It's first blood to Moeen in this battle! He's down on one knee and slog-sweeps, sending the ball high and handsome over deep-midwicket.

Great use of the feet by Moeen, picked the length, saw it early, and a free swing of the bat.

Beautiful! Moeen Ali down the track to Matt Carter and effortlessly hits the ball back over bowler's head and into the crowd for the first six of the day.

Six more! He doesn't quite get to the pitch of this one but adjusts and thumps it straight again.

A big finish to the powerplay and few players are better to watch in full flow than Moeen Ali. We could be in for a treat...
