Time for some leg spin in the form of Matt Parkinson. And he's greeted by a Zak Crawley six.
The fielder on the deep square leg boundary leaps up high but it's just out of reach. A for effort.

That was extraordinary!
Classy! Maxwell effortlessly flicks it over to the leg side and it clears the boundary. Outstanding shot..

Ugly but effective from Glenn Maxwell.
Back comes wicket-taker Sean Abbott. The pace of this format is relentless.
Maxwell hoicks into the leg side. It's in the air for a long time but it lands safely and dribbles over the boundary foam. Not convincing, but four more.
The legend that is Andre Russell is handed the ball. The Jamaican steams in and angles into Crawley's midriff, who struggles to find any real timing.
Glenn Maxwell finds the boundary for the first time today with a top edge through the slip region. They all count.

The game is just simmering. It feels like something big is going to happen.

Crawley and Klaassen are Kent teammates so they'll each want the bragging rights, but Crawley is winning at the moment.
It looks like a great pitch for batting.
Shot. It's in the slot from Klaassen and that's exactly where Zak Crawley wants it - drilled down the ground for a boundary.

What an absolutely stupid thing to say. The most ridiculous thing I've ever heard.

Liam Livingstone's unpopular cricket opinion is that wides should be worth two runs.
A change of ends for Klaassen. He begins with a wide down the leg side, before Crawley scrambles a leg-bye. An ugly short ball, well outside the leg stump, is signalled another wide.
You can't gift too many runs in this format.
Superb opening first five deliveries from Abbott. He concedes just three runs, with that important wicket.

It's the million-dollar man, Glenn Maxwell. A remarkable player.
I'm sure he'll have an eye on that short boundary.

Zak Crawley tried to call Rossington back to review it but it looked plumb from up here!

That was quick. He was pinned bang in front.
Rossington lbw b Abbott 0 (Spirit 8-1)
Australia's Sean Abbott strikes with his second ball of the day! It's a quick delivery which traps Adam Rossington, facing his first delivery of the day, in front of his stumps. It's plumb. No need to review.
Terrific ball.

Zak Crawley is an imposing player. He hits the ball hard, he's tall and is an intimidating batter to bowl at.
