That's a horrible ball. It was signalled over the shoulder.

That's a horrible ball. It was signalled over the shoulder.
James Fuller doesn't quite live up to his name as he bowls very short and it's called a wide.
I don't think that was discussed in the timeout.
Jordan does well, just four runs from his five balls and it's time for a tactical timeout.
I think they probably just need a drink, to be honest. And I can't blame them at all.
Moeen Ali kickstarted the six-hitting fest earlier. It's been entertaining.

Interesting, Southern Brave are sensing danger and going to their death bowlers right away.
James Vince brings on his main man, Chris Jordan, to try and stem some of the damage.

They are sniffing the 200, aren't they? They are not knocking it around.
He may be taking a back seat to Will Smeed right now but Livingstone still manages to smash a boundary of his own.
Birmingham Phoenix are setting themselves up for an enormous total here.
A stunning piece of relay fielding from George Garton on the boundary, as he skids on his knees like a child at a school disco and manages to offload the ball to the other fielder to throw in.
Saves a boundary, for certain.

Smeed managed to clear his left leg. The fielder was right there but it just kept sailing over his head.
Phoenix 108-2
Oh my word.
50 from just 25 balls and what a way to get there. Down on one knee against the spinner and down the ground for ANOTHER six!
What a talent this kid is! To outshine Liam Livingstone takes some doing but he's doing it at a canter.

I think Lintott has bowled the most 10-ball sets in the history of The Hundred. He does it quite a lot.
Liam Livingstone's had enough of watching Will Smeed have all the fun.
He helps himself to six more from a ferocious slog into the leg side.
This is great viewing.
The spinner Jake Lintott is back on and is greeted by another Will Smeed boundary - but it's only four this time.
Disappointing.
Tough night for George Garton, who's gone for 43 from just 15 balls so far.

Will Smeed is making really strong progress now.
And another!
Liam Livingstone can only stand and admire from the other end as Will Smeed hogs the limelight, crunching six more into the stands!
He's absolutely smashing it.

Chris Jordan was leaping in the air down long-on, but it was way over his head.
Whacked!
Will Smeed is batting smart here. He knows he's not getting many freebies from Tymal Mills so he takes the attack to George Garton and launches him straight down the ground for a huge six.
He's now on to 36 from just 19 balls.
Yep, Livingstone fancies some! He takes a couple of steps down the pitch to Tymal Mills and tries to launch it into the stands, but the bowler beats him with his pace and bounce.
The camera on Livingstone's helmet gives us an insight what it's like to face that pace and all I'll say is... no thanks.
