Sophia Dunkley is so good in that region. Playing it late allowed it to beat that fielder.
Brave's bowlers impress to successfully defend 122-8
Shrubsole takes 3-20; two wickets apiece for Bell & Adams
Dunkley top-scores with 49 for visitors as Fire share the wickets around
Welsh Fire remain without a win; Brave have won all four matches so far

Lovely again from Sophia Dunkley.
She rocks back and goes deep in her crease before cutting away for another boundary.
She is so strong there.
Ah! Welsh Fire really can't afford to keep doing this.
Tahlia McGrath hits it back towards Hannah Baker, and it does go hard and fast, and the youngster isn't able to hand on.

Username Bingo: Having Alex Hartley on comms in the field is awesome. Fab insight into the game.
Grimboid: That’s what you call multi-tasking! Alex Hartley doing an amazing job bowling and talking us through her plans live on BBC cricket.
Sonney: Can we have Alex Hartley miked up for every Welsh Fire game? Brilliant insight mixed with great humour. Absolute class.
Alex Hartley on the player mic: "It's gotten to that point where we probably keep telling the umpire that the ball is too wet to try and get it changed. It's like a bar of soap now and we have a lot of spinners in the team."
Dunkley 21, McGrath 4
Welsh Fire have clawed this back well after Brave got off to a rapid start.
West Indies all-rounder Hayley Matthews concedes just four from her first set.
There is some drizzle in the air in Cardiff. It's not enough to send us off at the moment but if it gets much heavier it might. `

As a young leg-spinner, I'd encourage her to bowl the same length and just try and keep the line a bit tighter.

She's got it away. Got it away for four. Sophia Dunkley played it late and got a much needed boundary.
Ah.
Hannah Baker continues for a 10-ball set and she initially restricts Brave well but her final ball gives Sophia Dunkley a little bit of width and the England batter carves away to the boundary.
Still, Baker only conceded eight runs from her 10 balls.

If Andy (15:13) saw women's cricket a few years ago with the same boundaries as men, he wouldn't be saying that. Games descended into lots of 1s and 2s, or getting caught five yards from the boundary. Wasn't a great spectacle. Bringing the boundaries in isn't patronising, just practical for the game.

Australia's Tahlia McGrath is the new batter.
She's been a superstar in the last 12 months for the all-conquering Aussies but she has struggled in this tournament so far.
She's made five from five balls and three from six balls so far.
You could say she is due.

Nice flight, nice guile. They'd built the pressure and brought Hannah Baker into the attack. Slick glovework as well. The Welsh Fire are regaining a bit of control.
Wyatt st Bryce b Baker 16 (Brave 50-2)
Another big breakthrough.
This is really good from Welsh Fire and Hannah Baker.
Fire have restricted Brave well in the last few sets and it brings the big shot from Danni Wyatt.
She looks to hit over the top but she goes past it and Sarah Bryce gathers and whips the bails off.

Feel like these next 5-10 deliveries are important for both teams. The Fire will be looking to put the squeeze on while the Brave will be looking to put their foot on the accelerator and get a move on.
A good start from Australia's Nicola Carey, conceding just two runs from her first five balls.
This is first appearance of the tournament with compatriot Rachael Haynes unwell today.

That's another drop. Twice now and Lauren Filer will be gutted with that one. She did all the hard work, got to the ball and it was in and it was out.
Brave 45-1
Welsh Fire can't afford to keep dropping these!
Sophia Dunkley gives herself some room, looking for a big shot, and Lauren Filer has to come in off the boundary rope.
She makes up the ground and has the opportunity to take a low catch, but the ball spills out.
These two drops in the last four balls could be costly.
Alex Hartley on the player mic: "For Wyatt, I don't want to give her any room and want to bowl on middle and leg. For Dunkley, I want to go slightly straighter because she's very strong through the off side."

Danni Wyatt hustles very well between the wickets. These two have a nice little partnership going on. They enjoy batting with each other.
