A slow and steady start from South Africa.
Is their plan to bat out for the draw already? Are they playing the rain card, perhaps? It does look a bit gloomy.

I reckon Sophie Ecclestone will play the role of trying to clean up South Africa. She's the best in the world with the white ball and she's just as good with the red ball.
She is just so good and so different. Her action is so repeatable and she gets revs on the ball. She will be looking to contain the batters who will then have to take on the bowler at the other end and that will bring wickets.

You feel like the two most different England bowlers are going to have to do most of the work if England want to win this. Issy Wong and Sophie Eccelstone are going to be key to take those seven wickets.
Nat Sciver bounces Tumi Sekhukhune, who plays it well. She's very small in stature so the ball gets to around head height but she swivels nicely to pull it for a single and give Luus the strike.
It's the only run from the over as the captain Luus continues to play cautiously.

It's tough for Lauren Bell to get LBW because she swings the ball that much. She's getting so much movement it's almost like an off-spinner.
A big lbw appeal on Sune Luus first ball is turned down by umpire Sue Redfern. The swing that Lauren Bell gets will make it hard for her to get too many lbws, but it is causing problems.

Last night the Nightwatcher Sekhukhune took a single in the last over and Sune Luus had to face the final five balls of the day. It was a strange one because her job was to protect Luus.
There's nothing worse than a Nightwatcher hanging around the next day like a barnacle on a boat and England will want rid of Sekhukhune as soon as they can.
Two singles from Sciver's over.
A reminder that Tumi Sekhukhune is the nightwatcher, so there will be more specialist batters to come in if she departs.

Quizzy Wong have got bad news for everyone asking. We missed the pub quiz so the TMS Quiz debut will have to wait.

First runs of the day.
Lauren Bell overpitches and Sune Luus (a-ha) clips off her legs for two. It was a full toss but the ball is swinging for Bell which is encouraging.

This is going to be a belter!
Love the enthusiasm, Liz!
Sciver starts with a maiden.

Liz Mitchell: CRICKET!!!!!!! Let's GOOOOOOOOO!
Nat Sciver with the first over of the day. Tumi Sekhukhune solidly defends the first ball.
Sciver has already done pretty well in this Test. She's scored 169 not out, taken one wicket and three catches.
Not a bad day(s) at the office.

Is today the day? England haven't won a Test anywhere since 2014 and not won one at home until 2005 so today could end that long break.
The session times have been altered a little today to make up for some of the overs left yesterday.
Morning session: 11:00-13:30 BST
Afternoon session: 14:10-16:10 BST
Evening session: 16:30 BST until minimum 92 overs have been completed.
There will be a total of 109 overs available in the day. Good old Test cricket!

Sune Luus and Marizanne Kapp will be the key wickets. They will provide some resistance for England but they will be tired, too.
vs. when she says "we've got one in the freezer at home..."

It is very exciting that England haven't really missed Brunt and Shrubsole! When we watched Wong, Bell and Cross bowling last night, it felt like they could get a wicket at any moment.
