That was hit with real intent. Four more, she's dealing largely in boundaries at the moment.

  2. Eng 187-1published at 27 overs

Sophia Dunkley is enjoying herself out there.

She helps herself to two boundaries off Ayabonga Khaka's over, even having the audacity to charge down the wicket and thump one over mid-wicket.

Unsurprisingly, she has a beaming smile plastered on her face.

Just the one wicket to fall for England so far, that of Emma Lamb.

Another fine innings from the opener.

A good over, a challenging over from Kapp.

  5. Eng 178-1published at 26 overs

    Beaumont 89, Dunkley 5

Ooooh! Marizanne Kapp beats Dunkley's outside edge with two genuine beauties - a rare sight.

The bowler has her head in her hands in her follow through. It's been a chastening afternoon for her so far.

    Thanks, Sam.

Sophia Dunkley welcomes me to my stint with a glorious straight drive past mid-on for four delightful runs.

Time for a change now and as I go and try to cool down, I'll hand you over to Ffion Wynne for the remainder of the innings.

  8. Eng 172-1published at 25 overs

    Dunkley 0, Beaumont 88

Beaumont is on the charge now, powering her way to 88 with a pair of boundaries to end the over.

The first of them is nailed just wide of mid-off and the next, something of a long hop from Ismail, is pulled dismissively behind square.

I'm going to stand up for this commentary stint. After my first one I left a massive pool of sweat on the chair so this should hopefully be better.

    Top class.

An attempted off-cutter from Ismail and Beaumont whips it through mid-wicket, all along the deck for four.

No need to run for those.

  11. Eng 158-1published at 24 overs

A second boundary of the over follows that review as Kapp does find the edge this time. A probing delivery around off stump but the ball flies off the edge and down to third for four.

Two boundaries from it but a challenging over from the South Africa quick.

I think that just shows how deflated they are. They didn't even bother appealing.

The umpire said to Anna Harris she could stay with her original decision - there wasn't even an original decision!

Well, that was all a little bit strange. No real appeal before the review and you can see why, there is nothing on UltraEdge.

It was close to the edge, I guess, but that was a very hopeful one from the visitors.

There wasn't appeal from anyone! Can you even do that? Not appeal but then send a review anyway?

Kapp goes past Beaumont's edge. There is not much of an appeal but South Africa have sent it upstairs.

Kapp has got to back up Ismail here. She also didn't bowl a good first spell so she has got to bowl straighter here.

  17. Eng 153-1published at 23.1 overs

Order is restored for England. Beaumont works the ball beautifully to the right of mid-on, a boundary to welcome Kapp back into the attack.

  18. Eng 149-1published at 23 overs

A wicket maiden for Ismail. South Africa didn't half need that!

Sophia Dunkley is in at number three, looking to back up her wonderful century last time out.

That's brilliant from Ismail. She bowled too wide and too short in her first spell so we were all saying she just needed to bowl straight, attack the stumps.

And that's what she can do when she gets it right. Emma Lamb has just thrown that away a bit but she's had an amazing series.

    Lamb b Ismail 65 (Eng 149-1)

Respite for South Africa as the opening stand is broken!

South Africa go back to their strike bowler and she delivers. Lamb moved across her stump and tried to ramp but can only divert the ball onto her off stump.

There's a huge roar from Ismail. No doubt plenty of frustration in that celebration.
