This is only the fourth time these two have batted together but it's their second 100 partnership.
After the 100 partnership comes up, Lamb adds another boundary with a reverse sweep.
It's very full and straight from Tryon but Lamb is able to connect on the full and put it away behind square.
Lamb 41, Beaumont 42
The running between the wickets has been very good from Lamb and Beaumont and that is the case throughout the Mlaba over, four singles to go with the boundary.

There's no pace on the ball at all but Beaumont absolutely smashed that.
Glorious from Beaumont! Flighted from Mlaba and the England opener is down the track and hammers the ball back through mid-off for four.
Tryon resumes after drinks and it is another decent over. Three singles come from it with the field spread now.

It feels like the only way they can take a wicket at the moment is through containment and slowing the scoring down, trying to force the batters to make the mistake.

Lamb and Beaumont have just picked up where they left off in Bristol.
South Africa haven't been tight enough at all and these two have really made them pay.

Not the wicket that Mlaba wanted but only three runs from the over. Back-to-back tidy overs for South Africa. The spinners have managed to slow England a little.
Time for drinks.
Eng 84-0
The first real chance of the match for South Africa and they've squandered it!
It's a big drive from Lamb as she tries to get after Mlaba, there's a nick, not the biggest deviation but Chetty can't hold on behind the stumps.

Some quiet overs here will help South Africa, they just need to keep a squeeze on things even if they're not taking wickets.
They've got to try and make England hit their best balls for four, rather than just waiting for the bad one.

The first maiden of the innings!
Well, well, well. A maiden! Very much needed for South Africa, even if it only pauses Beaumont and Lamb's momentum momentarily.
A very good first over from Chloe Tryon.

I'm going early here, putting it out there that England's highest ever ODI score is 378.

England will try and take on Mlaba. I can't see there being any spin and the outfield is rapid.
An extra and a boundary, check them both off on your bingo card for each over of this innings. It's not the best bingo card with just two items, I grant you!
Anyway, we've got them both in Mlaba's first over. A legside wide before Lamb opens the face and guides the ball backward of point for four.
Time for some spin. Will a change of pace do the trick for South Africa? Nonkululeko Mlaba is on to try and find out.

The powerplay is over, England are cruising and yet they still only have two fielders on the boundary! I just don't get it.
You might expect it to be the England players more likely to be suffering in the heat today but it is South Africa who already look frazzled.
The tourists need a wicket quickly otherwise this could get messy.
