Yet another remarkable day for England, they can do no wrong in this multi-format series.

South Africa were much-improved posting a competitive 148-6 in Worcester as Katherine Brunt became England's leading T20 wicket-taker and Alice Capsey struck with her second ball on debut.

With the bat, England always looked a level above, cruising to a six-wicket win. Sophia Dunkley continued her aggression at the top of the order with 23 from 15 balls, Danni Wyatt made 39 and Nat Sciver top-scored with 47 before she was run out.

I think we will see Freya Kemp in the final game.

England will want to win the final game and clean sweep South Africa but with the Commonwealth Games coming up it will be interesting to see if they give the likes of Kemp an opportunity.

England look in a really strong place at the moment. South Africa haven't been at their best but England have been really good. They have been ruthless with their performances and just haven't let South Africa in at all. They are building up nicely for the Commonwealth Games.

  4. 'There's a lot of talent on show'published at 17:59 British Summer Time 23 July 2022

Player of the match England's Danni Wyatt: "I really enjoyed batting out there on a really nice wicket, but the credit has to go to the bowlers for keeping them to 148. I'm really happy to contribute.

"There wasn't a lot said at half-time. We just said it sits up nicely on that wicket and to play to my strengths and to run well and the runs will come.

"I am always trying to get better. I am an oldie now. You've always got to improve. The bowlers are always looking at where they can bowl at you so my job is to keep improving and just keep getting better and better. we've got the youngsters coming through now so there is lots of talent on show in the country.

"We've got a lot of cricket coming up and there are some great signs on show and hopefully it can continue."

On Sophia Dunkley: "That [out-hitting her] is impossible. She is beast mode at the moment. You've seen how far she is hitting the ball in the last couple of games. It is an honour to bat with her."

England were solid in the field limiting South Africa who always seemed 20 runs or so short.

Even the hosts' mistakes led to run outs.

  6. 'We just want to be relentless with our attacking mindset'published at 17:54 British Summer Time 23 July 2022

England captain Nat Sciver: "Different challenges were thrown at us, particularly when we were bowling. They came out with great intent and really put us under pressure. We did really good job of dragging it back in the final 10 overs of their innings. To come out with that intent with the bat, when conditions were trickier than the other day, I thought was really good."

On Sophie Ecclestone and Sarah Glenn: "To have those wicket-takers in the middle is really important. We know that if we can get a few wickets in the middle it will really slow them down towards the end so all-in-all I think it was a good performance."

On the dropped catch: "Yeah, it wasn't one of my best moments. Unfortunately we might have to talk about about it a little further later today, but for now I'm happy."

On Katherine Brunt: "I don't believe it sometimes because to me she is just my partner and wife. For to be the leading wicket taker now is really special. She can just create something from nothing and that firepower in our bowling attack is something that, when she does retire, we will really miss."

On what England can improve ahead of the Commonwealth Games: "I think just being relentless with our attacking mindset. Obviously we didn't take a wicket until the second half of our bowling innings in this game. That isn't through lack of effort of trying, maybe just execution and the wicket was quite tricky to take wickets on in the end, but actually getting started, when you are a new batter, was quite tricky. We just want to keep with that positive intent and just want to know we can do it when we're put under that pressure."

She won't want to watch her wicket back though. How unlucky can you get?!

It was yet another controlled batting display from England, the hosts never looked in danger and cruised to their target of 149.

Nat Sciver built a platform with a brilliant 47 off 41 balls. Here's a selection of her best shots:

  9. 'We can find positives'published at 17:47 British Summer Time 23 July 2022

South Africa captain Sune Luus: "We needed something special in the field just to try and turn things around and luckily it stuck.

"We spoke about giving us a platform for Chloe [Tryon], myself and Laura [Wolvaardt] to come in and tee off at the end. Unfortunately myself and Chloe didn't come off which could have given us an extra 20-30 runs. They did well and I think that is the confidence they needed to kick on for the next game.

"Every game you can find positives. Today as well with Lara [Goodall} and Anneke's [Bosch] good performances as well and a couple of the bowlers here and there. Every game we try and take positives to build on for the next game.

"When you play a quality side like England fielding and catching is really important. That is just something we need to touch on, catches are crucial. And as the old saying goes catches win matches and I just think that is something we need to focus on going into the next game."

The way that Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley set up that innings - they just went out there and hit the ball so well - they just broke the back of that total.

You've then got the experience of Nat Sciver coming in and steadying the ship and getting England over the line.

England didn't have it all their own way with Bryony Smith falling in the powerplay.

But what surprised was the lack of appeal. This never looked out until it was!

Khaka will be disappointed to not get that final over - she's been bowling so well. It is quite strange.

It is tricky when you keep losing. You can get scrambled brain out there and it is fair enough because you've got England coming at you.

England were so, so strong with the bat, with Nat Sciver looking particularly impressive.

This reverse-sweep almost flicked a switch for England. They just continued to accelerate from that moment on until they eventually got over the line.

England win in spectacular fashion! It was a comprehensive win.

South Africa did perform better today, they were a bit closer to England.

England still had plenty left in the tank though.

South Africa performed better and they will take some positives out of that. They will be disappointed not to get the win. There is one more game to play and both sides are obviously building towards the Commonwealth Games.

England were just far too strong. They restricted them to a very gettable total and knocked it off pretty comfortably.

Never in doubt as Maia Bouchier hits the winning runs with a second boundary, pulling to a vacant fine-leg.

England have been too good yet again for South Africa and have a real chance at a double white ball whitewash.

They lead the T20 series 2-0 with one game left to play.

That was a really good innings from Nat Sciver. She is just coming in and navigating her way through any situation at the moment.

She is really unlucky there. That must be the worst way to get out.
