Harmanpreet b Glenn 5 (Ind 35-5)
A wonderful piece of bowling from Sarah Glenn - and the wait for a boundary continues for India.
Harmanpreet Kaur was in a difficult situation, not knowing whether to just stay there and accumulate runs, or go for it because they needed to get a move on. She comes down the pitch to Glenn but it's a half-hearted shot that spins between her bat and pad and clips the stumps.

We've not had a boundary since before mobile phones existed!

Boundaries are what India need - the run-rate has just gone above 3.5 an over.
As consistent as you would expect from Ecclestone, but Deepti Sharma and Harmanpreet Kaur just tick the score along as they try and regain some kind of fluency for India.
But they haven't got much time left to work with. They need boundaries.
Here's Sophie Ecclestone with her first over. Not the bowler you want to be facing when you're 27-4!

India have had a deep reliance on their openers in the last few years - especially Smriti Mandhana, who has scored 17 half-centuries in T20 cricket.
Deepti Sharma plays a lovely late cut off Bryony Smith, but it's just the two runs. There hasn't been a boundary for a long time.

It's a tough ask for India to get a decent score on the board now. These two will be key.
A wicket and just two runs from Sarah Glenn's first over.
Sophie Ecclestone hasn't even bowled yet!

Sophie Glenn and Sophie Ecclestone are similar - they skid the ball onto the stumps, and aren't big turners of the ball. They're very hard to cut. That was an excellent catch by Amy Jones because it was a healthy edge.
Hemalatha c Jones b Glenn 0 (Ind 21-4)
She does indeed! Glenn gets a wicket with her third ball and India's troubles continue.
Amy Jones missed a stumping from the second ball of the innings but corrects herself here with a sharp catch. Dayalan Hemalatha goes back and tries to cut a shortish delivery but gets a thick edge, and Jones gathers it cleanly.
What can India do from here? They have had no answers so far.

I saw somebody suggest the other day that Sarah Glenn makes bowling spin look cool.
A wicket and just two runs from the final over of the powerplay, which has been all England.
Harmanpreet Kaur is still there and she is going to have to play an outstanding innings here if India are going to post a competitive score.

Danni Wyatt dropped a sitter at Derby but she more than made up for it there. She is an outstanding outfielder, who covers the ground so well. It sums up England's powerplay. They've been outstanding.
Meghana c Wyatt b Davies 0 (Ind 19-3)
Another cracking catch!
Danni Wyatt dropped a simple chance on the boundary at Derby but this is exceptional. The pressure tells on Sabbineni Meghana as she tries to hit a Freya Davies short ball to the boundary - she connects pretty well but Wyatt charges in, dives and gathers the ball just inches off the ground.
Meghana departs for nought from nine balls.

It's been exceptional bowling. England have put them under pressure and given India nothing.
Harmanpreet Kaur said at the toss she would definitely have liked to bowl first, and they are batting as if they didn't have a plan for if they lost the toss.
She is yet to score having faced four balls, with Meghana also yet to score having faced six.

This India side aren't as effective when batting first - the statistics do show that.
It has been a great start to the powerplay from England. India are on the back foot and will need something special from their captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, to get them back in the game.
