Jhulan Goswami looked up to the sky and shouted at herself there because she knows that she is better than that.
Fielding, though, is not necessarily Jhulan Goswami's bag as she heads towards retirement. A tumbling fall cannot stop Davidson-Richards getting another four.
England's 150 is up.

I think a bit of both, without sitting on the fence too much. The ball has kept a bit low from one end but it looks a decent pitch.
There has been some variable bounce, but there hasn't been much spin or movement.

I don't know what to think. Is this a reasonable score on a placid, tacky pitch?
Davidson-Richards 16, Ecclestone 9
I reckon a pitch map of Goswami's bowling would show every delivery today has been pitched within the space of a dinner plate.
She's back in her groove right away.

It feels like England might just crawl up to 220 or so. When you're watching an ODI you're sensing that isn't enough but if you get a couple of early wickets against this India side it probably might be enough.
Realistically what can England get to from here? 200 is still just about in view.
Jhulan Goswami is returning, however.

Sophie Ecclestone is a very attacking player and England won't want her to go into her shell too much.
Davidson-Richards 13, Ecclestone 6
For England, Sophie Ecclestone has to make the most of that reprieve now. She's certainly been in good form in the T20s this summer and shows that by sweeping leggie Harleen Deol for her first boundary.
Argh. Later in the over, Deol breaks one of cricket's oldest rules - bowling a no-ball when you're a spinner. Ecclestone can only manage one from it, though.

Oval Invincibles batter on BBC Test Match Special
That is a hard chance, low to her right, but it wasn't hit hard and it probably should have been taken.
It's over to Sophie Ecclestone now...
Down!
Almost a four-ball duck. Deepti Sharma has spilled a catch in her follow-through.

That was just a full and straight delivery. It is a big wicket for India because Danni Wyatt was looking good.
It is a tall order for England now.
Wyatt b Sharma 43 (Eng 128-6)
Would you believe it? Just as I gave her the big build-up, Danni Wyatt is bowled on the sweep. It's a ball that hasn't really turned from Deepti Sharma but Wyatt has missed it. She's another England batter to look annoyed as she walks off.

That is a lovely shot by Danni Wyatt. She perfectly dissected the two fielders. It kept pretty low again but she watched it perfectly.
Wyatt 43, Davidson-Richards 11
Beware of the commentator's curse but Danni Wyatt is batting really nicely now. There's clever placement here and there, good running and now another boundary as she thumps one off the back foot for four.
It has been a crucial knock from one of the relative veterans in this England side.

I really like what Harmanpreet Kaur is doing. She's keeping her fielders in the ring and keeping it tight for as long as she possibly can.
The sun is out now at Hove. The crowd has built too. It looks lovely.

That is trademark Danni Wyatt. I don't know how she hits it there but she does hold the bat differently to most people and it is an effortless shot for her.
Wyatt 35, Davidson-Richards 9
And like London buses here comes another four...
It's Danni Wyatt this time, lifting the ball over the extra cover fielder with a wristy swish of the bat.
