  1. 100 runs

    Ind 104-3published at 20 overs

Harleen Deol is in at number five for India and is off the mark with a boundary. A rare drag down from Ecclestone and Deol cuts it powerfully through backward point to bring up the 100 for India.

A single ends the scoring from the over. A very good one for England - any over that includes the wicket of Mandhana has to be considered a good one for the bowling side.

    Mandhana lbw b Ecclestone 40 (Ind 99-3)

Impact is umpire's call and the ball is going on to hit middle and off - huge wicket for England!

Sophie Ecclestone makes the key breakthrough for England yet again. Smriti Mandhana had looked in brilliant nick but miscalculated with that sweep shot.

No bat involved and the ball struck the hip of her back leg - umpire's call on whether it was in line - and that was enough for England.

The biggest question will be is the impact outside the line?

    England are looking confident.

  6. India reviewpublished at 19.1 overs

Big moment in the game. Mandhana is given out lbw to Ecclestone after missing with an attempted sweep shot.

It's reviewed quickly and upstairs we go. Maybe outside the line?

A wicket here and you get into the middle order and things can change drastically. But at this point India are slightly ahead.

  8. Ind 99-2published at 19 overs

Really good over from Charlie Dean, it costs just a single and she came close to removing Harmanpreet Kaur as well.

The off-spinner fizzed the ball past the outside edge with a delivery that went on with the arm. Very close to the outside edge.

After a change of ends, Charlie Dean is back into the attack. England are banking on spin to break this partnership.

  10. Ind 98-2published at 18 overs

Close! Ecclestone ends the over with a very full delivery to Kaur that sneaks under the bat and just misses off stump.

It whacks Jones on the left forearm, a nasty blow but the England skipper is fine to continue.

A smile on the face of the Indian batters out in the middle now.

  12. Ind 95-2published at 17 overs

A drag down from Kemp to end the over and Kaur is onto it in a flash, pulling the ball away behind square for four.

It was only about 10-15 yards to the right of the fielder at deep backward square but it went so quickly that there was no chance of cutting it off.

This partnership is the one that will offer the most for India. Mandhana and Kaur have traditionally been the big name players for India.

  14. Ind 88-2published at 16 overs

    Kaur 9, Mandhana 35

Just a single either side of that six in Ecclestone's first over.

I fancy this is a big phase of the game. If Kaur and Mandhana got going then England could be chasing a very big total. Get one or both of them quickly and it could be a very different story.

Ecclestone doesn't have great numbers against Mandhana. And Mandhana puts her under pressure straight away.

  16. 6 runs

    Ind 87-2published at 15.2 overs

Pressure? What pressure? Smriti Mandhana takes the attack to Ecclestone second ball, advancing and then planting the ball over wide long on for the first six of the day.

    Brilliant shot.

It's still close. I wouldn't be surprised if England win this game and force a decider.

On debut Freya Kemp has bowled really nicely. She's conceded just 13 runs off her four overs.

  19. Ind 80-2published at 15 overs

Steady stuff from Kemp, holding a very tight line and not giving Kaur or Mandhana any freebies.

England just starting to build a little bit of pressure and Amy Jones wants to turn the screw. Here comes Sophie Ecclestone.

It's getting quite grey and cloudy overhead now, which could make it harder for the team fielding second as it's only going to get darker.

We saw how much India struggled with the colder conditions in the evening games in the T20s, particularly in the field, so that puts even more pressure on them to get a big first innings total here.
