Oooh, Jacks gets away with it next ball though as he mis-times a cut and the ball just lands safe from two converging Pakistan fielders and rolls away for another boundary.

Still, England reach 57-1 and will likely be very satisfied with their efforts in the powerplay.

Hello! Shahnawaz Dahani gets a bit of life out of the pitch by banging it in short and beating Dawid Malan's attempted pull shot. That really did race through.
