Brook and Duckett can certainly do some damage.

Brook and Duckett can certainly do some damage.
Duckett 25, Brook 4
Make it three boundaries in a row for Duckett!
This one is flat-batted back over Wasim's head. Again not timed perfectly but again just enough on it to beat the fielder in a race to the boundary cushion.
Duckett is not holding back despite England's precarious position.
He heaves Wasim over mid-wicket for four and then adds another boundary next up. Nowhere near the middle of the bat but enough on the straight drive to take it to the rope.

That's an outstanding piece of fielding! Mohammad Wasim had to run across the surface and chest first into the ground.
Target 167
Harry Brook is denied a boundary after guiding the ball down to third as Mohammad Wasim throws himself along the turf to make a diving stop. Three runs saved.
No stopping the last ball, though. Duckett somehow managing to chop the ball between short third and backward point for four from outside leg. Useful runs for England.

The Pakistani bowlers and fielders are really fired up.

When you've lost a few wickets it's really important to rotate the strike.
Target 167
It was Duckett and Harry Brook who did the damage for England in the last game and I fancy they're going to have to do similar tonight to prevent Pakistan levelling the series.
After a play and a miss second ball of the over from Duckett, things calm down slightly for the rest of the over.
It's all been very frenetic so far in this innings and that doesn't suit England in this situation. The tourists need calm heads.
Target 167
Width from Mohammad Wasim and Ben Duckett carves it away past short third for four.

It was a quick ball and Jacks has to go for nought. England are in all sorts of trouble!
Jacks b Hasnain 0 (Eng 14-3)
Bowled 'im! Two wickets for Mohammad Hasnain in his first over.
Will Jacks tries to pull the ball but it doesn't get up as much as he expects and just clips the off bail.
England in big trouble and the crowd in Karachi are loving it.

Not the start England wanted.

That is an absolutely stunning catch!
Hales c Usman b Hasnain 5 (Eng 13-2)
Brilliant catch. Alex Hales was cramped for room as he tried to repeat the pull for four from the previous delivery.
He manages to muscle it leg-side but Usman Qadir flung himself to his left at short mid-wicket and look a stunning grab at full stretch!
England are in a bit of bother early in the chase.
Target 167
England would be happy with nine from the first over. Less so with the loss of Phil Salt.
Will Jacks is out to join Alex Hales. The Surrey man has been moved down to number three but is in early enough that it makes little difference.

Nawaz will be very happy with that.
Salt c Wasim b Nawaz 8 (Eng 8-1)
An eventful start and Pakistan make an early breakthrough.
Salt had clobbered the previous ball for another boundary but has picked out deep mid-wicket with a slog-sweep. Well taken by Wasim.
Two boundaries but a wicket. Nawaz and Pakistan will take that.
Target 167
No messing about from Phil Salt. Left-arm spinner Mohammad Nawaz opens the bowling and begins with a short ball that is thumped through the covers for four.
Right, no time to waste. The players are out for the start of the England innings.
Thanks, Tom.
Those Asif Ali sixes in the last over have given Pakistan a little bit of momentum but prior to that, they seemed to struggle more as the innings went on after a flying start.
Was that due to good bowling? Poor batting? The pitch slowing up? A combination of all three? I guess we’ll find out when England try to chase down the 167 they need to win.
