That's soft! David Willey bowls a ball short and wide-ish but Iftikhar Ahmed neither goes up nor down, instead managing to guide the ball straight to Dawid Malan at backward point.
Rizwan certainly looks like he wants to get a shift on. He gets down on one knee to flick a David Willey full toss over short fine leg.

England certainly look a different team when Wood plays. They have suddenly have real threat with the ball.
Sam Curran, meanwhile, bowls considerably slower but is still banging the ball into the pitch. Good fielding on the boundary rope stops two boundaries.

Of all the encouraging things for England, I think what will be most encouraging is how Mark Wood has come back so far this series.
He has only bowled six overs, but it is the point of difference they have been missing.
Pakistan needed this to break free of the shackles. Iftikhar times a drive perfectly, picking the gap off Adil Rashid for his first boundary.
Wood has two wickets in two overs for just five runs.

There is a bit more in the wicket at Lahore compared to Karachi, which is one of the flattest wickets around.
Lahore is a little bit slower, but if you hit the middle of the pitch quite hard you can get indifferent bounce.
The crowd cheers as the tall right-hander Haider Ali chops Rashid down towards the point boundary only for Sam Curran to jog around and cut it off.
There's not loads of turn for England's leggie but enough to have him interested.
