That is an absolute beauty from Stokes. The ball seems to be doing something at the moment.

It's almost like watching the last day in England now. Stokes is getting movement and bounce.

  2. Pak 214-5published at 65 overs

    Target 343

Beautiful delivery from Ben Stokes as he beats the outside edge of Agha Salman's bat. It swung after passing the wicket too as Ollie Pope had to readjust his stance to claim the ball.

He repeats the trick later in the over too. This is brilliant stuff from the England skipper.

  3. Pak 212-5published at 64 overs

Pakistan need 131 runs to win

Ollie Robinson goes for the attempted yorker but Azhar Ali jams his bat down in time and can run two.

The seamers are doing the business for England - as they did this morning. The key could be when the spinners return, as they got some treatment before lunch.

That's brilliant. Quite a journey indeed.

I've never seen a crowd like it. It's Monday and there's a full house. That's a very good sign for Test cricket.

  7. Pak 210-5published at 63 overs

Ben Stokes apologises to his team-mates as he drops it in too short and Azhar Ali cuts away for four.

That's better from Stokes, getting one to shape away from Agha Salman, who was nearly tempted to have a waft outside his off stump.

The crowd erupted at that boundary, they know they have a thrilling finish on their hands.

For years people moaned about the status quo. Now people quick to moan about a new approach. This is far better entertainment that waiting for a draw!

It feels like it's going to be a nailbiter, all results are still possible.

Mason: Incredible mockers by Waqar, thank you very much Sir

  11. Pak 203-5published at 62 overs

    Target 343

Agha Salman is the new batter and immediately gets off the mark, opening the face and guiding down to third man.

England are buzzing in the field, they sense an opening here.

    Strap yourselves in, folks.

And Ollie Robinson strikes straight away!

It is a fuller delivery from Robinson and it gets Saud Shakeel pushing at the ball sending it airborne and into the hands of a diving Keaton Jennings at short extra cover.

That was a fine catch and a huge moment in this match as Shakeel was looking well set.

I feel like England are slipping away.

  16. Pak 198-4published at 61 overs

    Pakistan need 145 to win

There's five players in catching positions for Ben Stokes, who always seems to look exhausted. He keeps bounding in though, pushing and probing.

He has a rueful smile on his face as Azhar Ali angles the bat and guides the ball between slip and wicketkeeper for four. Great shot placement.

Anderson bowled one poor ball and there was a scoring opportunity and Shakeel took it.

  18. Pak 191-4published at 60 overs

    Pakistan need 152 to win

A lesser-spotted loose delivery from James Anderson as he strays on leg stump and Saud Shakeel clips it fine down to fine leg for four.

Ben Stokes is in so much control out there, it must be refreshing for Anderson to just concentrate on his bowling.

  20. Pak 186-4published at 59 overs

    Target 343

Ben Stokes bowls round the wicket to Saud Shakeel, who pushes the ball through to covers for two.

England looking to crank up a bit of pressure by strangling the scoring here.
