  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 99.1 overs

    Mahmood b Wood 0 (Pak 319-9)

    Bowled him!

It is straight, full and fast from Mark Wood. It pierces Zahid Mahmood's defences and the bails - not for the first time this innings - go flying into the air.

    England on the brink.

Salman is looking solid, eh, Phil? Phil?

Pakistan need 36 runs to win

Oh my that was close. It is another unconvincing shot from Agha Salman that goes off the inside edge and narrowly misses his stumps.

The field comes in for the fourth delivery and Agha responds by smacking James Anderson back over his head for four.

He pushes the next delivery square into the off-side, it beats the fielder and goes away for another boundary.

An expensive over - though Zahid Mahmood will be on strike to Mark Wood next.

I'm ruing the fact England wasted two reviews. They would've reviewed that if they had three.

  6. Pak 311-8published at 98 overs

    Target 355

The field is unsurprisingly spread for Agha Salman, who eventually takes the single off the fourth ball.

Mark Wood beats Zahid Mahmood's defences and the ball hits his pads - but Aleem Dar turns down the appeal.

England decide against the review, they only have one left remember. I suspect it was going down leg anyway.

On another day, that could have ricocheted straight on to his wicket.

  8. Pak 310-8published at 97.2 overs

Touch of fortune for Agha Salman, who very nearly chops an attempted pull shot onto his stumps.

    Mark Wood cannot believe it.

England are 50 runs short of winning a Test match they were in control of. Naive and will be disastrous in the Ashes.

Pakistan need 45 runs to win

Zahid Mahmood has the option of a single from James Anderson but turns it down.

Looks like Agha Salman will be taking most of the strike here.

Abrar leans on his bat not wanting to move. It's been the Pakistani way this match. Well, you're out.

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 96.2 overs

    Abrar c Duckett b Anderson 17 (Pak 310-8)

    You have jinxed him, Phil!

It is a pretty soft dismissal in the end. Abrar Ahmed has stepped back again but slapped the ball straight to Ben Duckett at cover.

Abrar cannot believe it. Neither can the stunned crowd. But those quick runs may yet prove decisive.

Pakistan are playing bazball!!! If England lose from here you can't blame our tactics when it will be our tactics that win the day.

    Richard

Not wanting to jinx him. But if Abrar Ahmed brings this home, it could be one of the best performances by a debutant in modern Test history.

Abrar has played this brilliantly, guiding that away past Crawley. Second boundary of the over and now there's some urgency.

  18. Pak 309-7published at 96 overs

    Back-to-back boundaries from Abrar Ahmed!

It is short from Mark Wood and Abrar steps back before playing a lovely delicate cut fine for four.

He steps back for the next delivery as well and lofts the ball back over the wicketkeeper to the boundary.

Two brilliantly inventive shots. Three fours in the over in total.

    46 more runs needed.

They've clearly had a chat in the Pakistan dressing room and said, "you have the licence boys, go for it".

  20. Pak 301-7published at 95-2 overs

Pakistan need 54 runs to win

Abrar Ahmed is having quite the debut.

Mark Wood pitches it up but Abrar gives himself some room and creams the ball back over his head for four.
