50 for Babar Azampublished at 52.1 overs
It's not one for the highlights reel but Babar Azam has his half-century courtesy of four overthrows from Ben Stokes.
He looks too sheepish to celebrate.

Duckett unbeaten on 50
Pakistan dismissed for 217, setting England 167 to claim historic 3-0 series sweep
Ahmed, 18, becomes youngest men's Test debutant to take five-wicket haul

I'm surprised Rehan has been introduced so late when the ball is soft. When he gets into his rhythm he'll be difficult for the Pakistan batters to handle.

An older Pakistan fan with a flag is dancing along to the England fans' rendition of Twist and Shout - Mark Wood's song. Wood thumps the ball in halfway down but it just loops over the batter with the venom of a muzzled mouse.

Early on the bowlers thought things could be wrapped up pretty quickly. Shakeel and Babar are going strong. The pitch is getting drier and won't be easier to bat on later.

Rehan Ahmed gives himself room for improvement with three full tosses in his first over. He's grinning, chatting with a team-mate after taking his cap. He'll be happy to just have the ball in hand.

Highlight of the year. How a coach and a captain have transformed a bedraggled England team that wouldn’t have looked out of place in the woeful 80’s and early 90’s, into easily the most exciting Test team in the World, who literally every cricket fan from around the globe are talking about. Now that’s magic!

Three more runs to Babar off Wood. That's the hundred partnership between these two.
Here is Rehan Ahmed. The wait to introduce him means England really could do with him bagging a wicket here.

Ideally the way Pakistan started I thought they would given England around 300 runs to chase but that earlier cluster of wickets has put them on the backfoot.
It actually looks like Rehan Ahmed has just been given the call from Stokes. I reckon he'll be on after this over from Wood.
Wood, meanwhile, has been hit for four by Babar. That takes the lead over 100.

Tom Bishop: Only reason I can think for Rehan not having a bowl is that Babar was the only one picking him up well in the first innings. England perhaps thinking he could quickly stretch the margin.
Another bowling change that isn't Rehan Ahmed. Here's Mark Wood.

Stokes continues. This is eight overs on the bounce for him now.
False shots have been few and far between but here Saud Shakeel pokes at a wider delivery, almost offering an edge. It's frustrating stuff for England.
At the end of the over Harry Brook comes over to roll the ball on Stokes' chest for some extra moisture.

The obvious ploy that hasn't been used yet is the wrist spin of Rehan. You would've thought on this surface and these conditions he would've been brought on. It's a puzzle.

Beautiful from Babar. He might have the best cover drive in the world right now. Ollie Robinson is punished this time before drinks head onto the field.
This little break might be a good time for England to have a chat. It has been emphatically Pakistan's hour.

Shakeel and Babar have been very durable, the sting from the earlier wickets is going.
Ben Stokes is getting increasingly red in the face as this spell gets longer and longer. Saud Shakeel edges one in this over but it's a well way short of Ben Foakes. Even Foakes can't do anything about that one.

Best cricketing moment of the year was in the Headingley Test against New Zealand. Jack Leach dismissing Henry Nicholls off non striker Daryl Mitchell's bat to be caught by Alex Lees. Will probably never see anything like it again!!
Richard Epps, Plymouth
Babar 32, Shakeel 45
I'd expect nothing less.
There is not a lot happening out in the middle which is not what England want to hear. On TMS they're talking about the fact Aggers think he saw a bird carrying a snake in its beak.

My favourite cricketing moment was seeing Rob Key smash a six from the bowling of a teenager in a charity game about a week after being named managing director of the men's team. Ruthless will to win starts at the top.

Still we wait for Rehan Ahmed. The latest change sees Ollie Robinson replace Jack Leach.
