    Target 299

Harry Brook is in at number four for England and lets the last ball of Nortje's over go through to De Kock.

Two wickets in two overs for the Proteas but England are more than halfway to their target after moving past 150. They took just 30 balls to go from 100 to 150. Not bad at all.

    Duckett c De Kock b Nortje 3 (Eng 151-2)

    Extra bounce, edged and gone!

Anrich Nortje does exactly what his captain wanted. Just a hint of unexpected bounce and at his pace, that is enough to do for Ben Duckett.

The left-hander tries to cut it and feathers behind to Quinton de Kock. South Africa are hanging in there.

Thanks, Matt. South Africa have just made the breakthrough but this is all going rather well for England, isn't it? Jason Roy looks in brilliant touch.

The home side need more wickets quickly and Temba Bavuma has turned to Anrich Nortje in a bid to get them.

    Target 299

Well that wicket alters things just a little but England are still well in control.

Sam Drury will take this one home.

Ben Duckett is England's number three.

They need 155 from 183 balls to win.

    Malan c Bavuma b Magala 58 (Eng 146-1)

Well South Africa certainly needed this. They break this dominant opening partnership as Dawid Malan skies a Sisanda Magala bouncer high into the air.

Can they apply a bit of pressure from here?

Sean Richard: England were so dominant for years when Roy was at his best. These are GREAT signs.

    Roy 85, Malan 58

South Africa are not helping themselves.

After beginning the over with a full toss, Tabraiz Shamsi gives Malan a half-volley which is hit for four and then oversteps. Jason Roy slams the free hit 96m back over the bowler's head.

    This is dominant.

Who ever doubted the quality of Roy???

The way England are going now should be all over by the 40th over. Playing absolutely stunning.

    What a gift!

Tabraiz Shamsi gives Dawid Malan a full toss to saunter to his half-century. England's openers are cruising.

Temba Bavuma turns to Sisanda Magala after the drinks break.

He's from the thicker set group of fast bowlers. It's a good over from the seamer. Three singles from it.

    Need 176 runs to win

Speaking of the commentator's curse, who is going to mention the 'H' word?

Jason Roy gets lucky, gloving a sweep between keeper and leg slip but it still results in four runs. The England opener repeats the shot a ball later and there's no stopping that either.

He has 77 from 56 balls as drinks come onto the field.

    Doesn't exist, Peter.

Jason Roy brings up the hundred partnership by pulling Anrich Nortje for six! He follows it with a swaggering four before wandering down the pitch to the speedster a ball later.

    He's purring.

Need 204 more runs to win

How many people would have picked Jason Roy to start this series? Not many I don't think given his run of form. It has been a timely response.

Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi comes into the attack but England milk him for four singles.

I know it's only a 40 but it's a long time since I have seen Jason Roy batting like this. For so long he batted like he was using a toothpick while his shoelaces were tied together but now he takes two more boundaries off Anrich Nortje.

The second flies away like a rocket.
