England have got an attacking field but that won't stop Reeza Hendricks!

Adil Rashid's third ball is whacked over the top of the covers for four.

The next ball goes past Moeen Ali at the slip and Aiden Markram and Hendricks take two.

  2. SA 79-2published at 13.5 overs

Another great shot by Hendricks! He plants his front foot and plays it through mid-wicket to the boundary ropes for another four.

Archer won't be too pleased with that.

  3. SA 73-2published at 13.4 overs

    Can Archer take another wicket?

He slightly over-pitches a slow delivery and Reeza Hendricks drives it down the ground for four.

  4. SA 66-2published at 13 overs

It's a good start from spinner Adil Rashid with only two singles taken in this over.

Archer strikes! Van der Dussen tried to smack it away but it went straight to Roy who went down low to take the catch at point.

  7. SA 61-1published at 11.1 overs

It's a short ball to start Archer's third over but Hendricks is smart and leaves it alone.

  8. SA 60-1published at 11 overs

    Thanks Matthew!

South Africa are ahead right now but they will need to stay in good form for 20 more overs if they want to win today.

It's Woakes' over and he concedes five runs.

Argh. Jofra Acher spoils his second over with a wide freebie to Reeze Hendricks off the final ball. Hendricks climbs into it, clattering the ball to the fence.

That's 10 overs done. England were 20-3 at this stage. Here's Aymen Babar.

Right on cue! Temba Bavuma tamely chips Chris Woakes to Reece Topley at mid-off. That's so soft. England have their breakthrough.

  12. SA 49-0published at 8.5 overs

Kevin Pietersen is piling into the start with the ball Chris Woakes and Reece Topley gave England. It was lacking in intensity, he says.

There hasn't been a lot of concern for the hosts or their supporters.

I thought this on Friday during his comeback game but didn't say it... To my eye Jofra Archer has bulked up a little in his time away. His shoulders look broader.

No wicket comes in his first over but there are no boundaries either.

  14. SA 41-0published at 7.1 overs

Archer's first ball is up at 89mph. He was OK in the first ODI but well below his best.

    That's a promising start.

    Here's Jofra...

  16. SA 41-0published at 7 overs

Need 306 more runs to win

Four more to Bavuma, who punishes a Chris Woakes slower ball.

    You're worried, aren't you?

Reeza Hendricks has located the middle of his bat. There's no stopping that one.

Too early to say this is starting to feel very familiar?

    Bavuma 27, Hendricks 4

There are two different games going on with Temba Bavuma charging and Reeza Hendricks crawling. Everything is hitting the middle of Temba Bavuma's bat.

This might be his best shot so far as Topley is driven through the covers.
