England's left-hand and right-hand partnership is becoming a problem for South Africa.

South Africa don't have key bowlers like Anrich Nortje today. He's been really good in this series and his absence is being felt by South Africa.

It's been five singles in Sisanda Magala over and a wide. The extra ball is hammered for four through the covers by Jos Buttler.

    Can England get to 300?

  4. Eng 195-3published at 36 overs

England have still got a lot of batting power to come with Moeen Ali and Sam Curran still in the changing room. Can Marco Jansen break the partnership?

South Africa have won the series but they also need to get five wins, from these three games and two against the Netherlands, to guarantee their place at the World Cup by finishing in the top eight. Any defeats leave them relying on others.

Simon Mahon: Few things give me more joy in sport than watching Jos Buttler hit an effortless six.

Another big six to start things up again!

South Africa's fielding has been great today but it's the second time Dawid Malan has been dropped off Tabraiz Shamsi.

This time he can only blame himself though.

He dives to his right to grab the ball in the follow through, but can't hold on, and Malan runs through for a single.

    That could've been a chance!

Dave Hill: No need to panic with these ODI results. Buttler is the best white ball cricketer in the world. Bairstow, Root, Stokes to come into the team. Will Jacks looks like another great talent coming through.

  14. Eng 127-3published at 29 overs

Wayne Parnell is on and he's got the right length and he is looking to hit the seam. He's a great left-arm fast bowler.

Dawid Malan gets an inside edge past the stumps and wicketkeeper Heinrich Klaasen for four.

Malan and Jos Buttler have got England right back into the game.

Spinner Tabraiz Shamsi continues. There's three singles to start the over before Jos Buttler hits hard over long on, looks like that went straight out of the ground and Buttler brings up the 100 partnership in style.

Dawid Malan is only eight runs away from his half-century. Can he get there too?

Jack Anderson: England have picked four batsmen, four all-rounders, three bowlers. I think the assumption is that a bowler might bowl badly. Why is the assumption never a batsman or two might do badly? England rarely lose matches because they do not take enough wickets.

  18. Eng 107-3published at 26 overs

South Africa will have to find a way of getting another wicket. Jos Buttler and Dawid Malan look very comfortable at the crease.

Buttler is using Tabraiz Shamsi's pace. He hits him through fine leg for four. It's another boundary for England and their run rate keeps increasing.

  19. Eng 102-3published at 25 overs

    Here comes Sisanda Magala.

Jos Buttler has played well so far and brought up England's strike rate from 2 to 4.08.

It's been a quiet over with only three singles. Could 300 still be on the cards for England?
