I really thought we saw the ball go through the hands and hit the ground and then it was scooped up.

We're seeing different things to the umpires. That's very harsh on Pakistan.

    Maroof c Kelly b Delany 4 (Pak 55-2)

This seems very harsh. Bismah Maroof is given out.

From the replay it looks like Kelly grounded the ball as she took the catch. But the umpire has given it as out.

Maroof is shaking her head as she walks off and does not look happy.

Bismah Maroof is caught at mid-on or is she?

The umpires are going to check the catch.

I'd love to see the wicket again, I think it hits the stump mic holder. Is that part of the wicket too?

    Bismah Maroof comes in.

Ireland's wicketkeeper Mary Waldron is wearing a very strange clear head piece instead of a helmet.

There's only two wides and four singles from this over and it brings up Pakistan's 50.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.4 overs

Javeria run out (Waldron) 6 (Pak 44-1)

    It's out!

Mary Waldron runs from behind the stumps, as Jane Maguire appeals for lbw, gathers the ball and her underarm throw and hits the stumps at the non-striker's end.

Javeria Khan's bat is about an inch away from being over the line.

  11. Umpire reviewpublished at 5.4 overs

The umpire has gone upstairs to check for the potential run out of Javeria Khan...

    It looks close.

How has that missed leg stump?

Here comes Arlene Kelly, who picked up the wicket of Alice Capsey in their game against England.

A low full toss from Kelly is punished by Muneeba Ali, who hits it down the ground for another boundary.

Kelly's next ball misses the leg stump by the slightest of margins and she throws her hands up in disbelief.

It's a little edgy from Pakistan, they're throwing their hands at the ball when it's wide but not quite timing it. There's been a couple of close calls for Ireland.

Ireland bring on spinner Leah Paul.

Muneeba Ali clears the fielder at fine leg to add another boundary to the total.

Pakistan have got a boundary in every over so they're capitalising in the powerplay.

Ireland need to be on their toes here. You can see the Pakistan batters trying to tap and run some quick singles.

  17. Pak 24-0published at 3 overs

Another shot by Muneeba Ali is hit into the leg side and flies towards the boundary.

    It's 10 runs from Orla Prendergast's over.

That outside edge really raced away. The boundaries are long but the outfield is rapid so if you get it past the infield you tend to get four.

Muneeba Ali hits Jane Maguire's second ball past short third for another boundary. There fielder went off in pursuit but the ball wins the race.

There is a really quick outfield at this ground, something we've seen in the other games too, so once the batters beat the infield it's easy to pick up runs, especially in the powerplay.

Orla Prendergast is relying on that swing you can tell. That's a nice ball for an opener to get.
