I'm a massive fan of Orla Prendergast.
A quieter over from Afy Fletcher which goes for just four runs. Not really sure whose on top at the halfway stage of this innings to be honest. Maybe Ireland by a smidge?

Ireland will be delighted with their start.
Orla Prendergast has nine lives, it's official. I make that life number four as she moves to 36 with a chip over the inner ring that just lands safe.
Ten more runs from that latest over by the way. Ireland have dragged themselves back into this game with a 60-run partnership.

Campbell has made a valiant effort there!
Aaliyah Alleyne is the latest to come into the attack for West Indies.
Gaby Lewis gets lucky with an uncontrolled shot that lands safe before Orla Prendergast hits the ball beyond Shemaine Campbelle on the off side for four more runs.

Ireland have really eyed this match as a win, and it would be a famous win if they get it. It would be calamitous for West Indies.
Lewis is starting to time the ball well now as she sweeps another for a single which brings up Ireland's 50.
There's a small pocket of green in the stands too making plenty of noise.
Here come the boundaries. Lewis now sweeps new bowler Afy Fletcher finely for four.

That is a great shot again from Lewis. Going over mid-off is one of her strengths and she got the reward twice in that over. You would think West Indies have learnt their lesson now.
Ireland are finally going at more than a run per ball as Gaby Lewis finds much more control in her latest up-and-over strike to the off-side boundary.
Hayley Matthews' latest over goes for 12.
Prendergast 25, Lewis 10
Ooof! Inches away.
Gaby Lewis doesn't get much on an aerial drive over the top off the bowling of Hayley Matthews and she nervously watches the ball just sail above the fingertips of Shamilia Connell.
Four more runs, but that was a close one.
That'll relieve some of the pressure. Prendergast under-edges a fuller delivery and the ball squirts between the keeper and slip for four more runs.
Still, it's been West Indies' powerplay.
Spin continues with Karishma Ramharack into the attack.
Ireland run two singles off her first three balls.

Hayley Matthews has managed to tie Ireland down a little bit there. That is why she is such a key player for West Indies, not just a key batter.
Here's the first wicket. West Indies have had a couple of chances since.
Three runs from Matthews' first over. Ireland, and Prendergast in particular, are looking very nervy.

That was very nimble work from Orla Prendergast to get back into her ground.
Nearly a run out! Orla Prendergast edges one along the ground to Shemaine Campbelle at slip, but the West Indies fielder can't hit the stumps with Prendergast well out of her crease.
Eeek!
Hayley Matthews brings herself into the attack. Time for some spin.
