Pakistan have been feeding Hayley Matthews' cut shot. Short and wide bowling and she'll continue to score freely off that.
A full delivery from Aiman Anwar outside off stump and Rashada Williams takes a step forward to hit the ball past mid-on for four.
Hayley Matthews plays a beautiful cut shot through the fielders at cover and it goes past backward point for four.
Another wide ball from Anwar is hit towards the backward point for back-to-back boundaries.
Lovely stuff from the West Indies skipper.
Shot! First four of the day.
It was short from Sadia Iqbal and Hayley Matthews hits it past backward point to the boundary ropes.
We're halfway through the powerplay and West Indies will be looking to hit some more boundaries.
There was no bat involved and the ball was missing the leg stump by quite a bit. A good decision by West Indies' Rashada Williams to review that.

I think the umpire has got this one wrong. It looks like it is missing another set. That's not a great decision.

That seemed to be going down leg and it was swinging. My feeling is this is missing.
There was a huge appeal for lbw against Rashada Williams and umpire Lauren Agenbag's finger went straight up!
It's a single from Hayley Matthews to start things off. A full ball from Iqbal was hit towards the square leg.
A very sedate start. Aiman Anwar is the new bowler.

West Indies are heavily reliant on Hayley Matthews, especially without Stafanie Taylor. Pakistan will think if they get Matthews then there is the the possibility that West Indies could collapse.
Right, national anthems have been sung.
Right-handed batters Hayley Matthews and Rashada Williams come to the crease. Sadia Iqbal has the ball in her hand.
It's time to play!

I don't think it's simple for West Indies today. I don't think they won it the other day, I think Ireland threw it away. West Indies are a side since winning that World Cup win in 2016 you worry for them. Pakistan, meanwhile, are much improved.

There's barely a cloud in the sky here in Paarl, it's touching 30c and the grass banks are filling up nicely. Plenty to look forward to in the next few hours.
Here's some action from the previous games...
Pakistan's XI: Sidra Ameen, Muneeba Ali(wk), Bismah Maroof(c), Nida Dar, Aliya Riaz, Omaima Sohail, Fatima Sana Khan, Aiman Anwar, Tuba Hassan, Nashra Sandhu, Sadia Iqbal.
West Indies' XI: Hayley Matthews(c), Rashada Williams(wk), Shemaine Campbelle, Zaida James, Shabika Gajnabi, Chinelle Henry, Aaliyah Alleyne, Trishan Holder, Afy Fletcher, Karishma Ramharack, Shamilia Connell.
Pakistan captain Bismah Maroof: "We were not relying on the toss. We need to play good cricket to win this game.
"We've got two changes, one is enforced and the other is tactical.
"It is unfortunate to lose Ayesha Naseem but it is an opportunity for someone else."
West Indies captain Hayley Matthews: "Just looking at the wicket I think we wanted the chance to bat first on it. If you look at the other matches it's maybe been a bit better in the first half so a good chance for us. I think we have some good momentum from the win over Ireland and hopefully we can use it. Our side is unchanged."
West Indies have won the toss and have chosen to bat first. We'll hear from the captains shortly.
Let's start with the news of the toss...
Pakistan won their previous game against Ireland by 70 runs. We also saw the tournament's first centurion, Muneeba Ali, who struck 102 off 68 to lead her side to victory.
West Indies are also coming into the game with a win after beating Ireland in their previous game too.
Both sides will be full of confidence and looking to secure an important win.
Hello and welcome to day nine of the ICC Women's World Cup!
We've got a double header today with Pakistan v West Indies followed by New Zealand v Sri Lanka at Eurolux Boland Park in Paarl.
If Pakistan win today they will go second on the table, ahead of India on net run-rate, and increase their chances of going into the semi-finals.
However, if West Indies win they will have a total of four points but will still be behind India on net run-rate.
