    The fightback continues!

A perfect slower ball from Taskin Ahmed draws a big swing and a miss from Chris Woakes who sees his off stump cartwheeling.

Bangladesh bowling coach Allan Donald claps from the dugout.

  2. Eng 147-5published at 19 overs

Chris Woakes joins Moeen at the crease and takes a single from his first ball.

That completes a fine spell from Hasan Mahmud, finishing with 2-26, particularly impressive in his last two overs at the death just when England looked to be taking the game away from them.

It'll be Taskin Ahmed to bowl the last over.

    The pressure tells!

Sam Curran tries to force one down the ground but Shanto takes another solid catch at long-on.

Frustration for Curran, trying to accelerate on a pitch that is getting slower and lower by the minute, and he departs for six from 11 balls.

  4. Eng 146-4published at 18.3 overs

England are desperate for a boundary but Bangladesh's seamers are tying them in knots.

The fielding isn't quite backing them up, though, as Shakib Al Hasan misses an easy run out chance of Moeen Ali at the non-striker's end.

    Moeen 2, Curran 5

Another very good over from Mustafizur, mixing up his pace well and conceding just six from it.

We haven't had a boundary since the second ball of the 16th over. Can Bangladesh continue their good finish?

A brilliant over from Hasan Mahmud, the big wicket of Jos Buttler and just a single from it.

Can England make the most of their last three overs?

  7. Not outpublished at 16.2 overs

    Safely back.

Sam Curran hit the ball firmly back to Hasan, who got a hand to it and the ball deflected on to the stumps, but Moeen was aware.

    As you were.

  8. Umpire reviewpublished at 16.2 overs

Oh! Has Moeen Ali been run out from a deflection off the bowler?

He looks pretty chill, but the umpire fancies a check.

  9. wicket

    Buttler c Shanto b Hasan 67 (Eng 135-4)

Two in two and it's the big one!

Buttler was hitting brilliantly down the ground but attempts one too many, finding Shanto on the long-on boundary who takes a smart catch diving forward.

Two new batters at the crease now for England, with Sam Curran and Moeen Ali yet to score. Big opportunity for Bangladesh to peg them back.

The perfect response as Duckett loses his off stump.

Mustafizur bowls a wide but makes the most of the extra ball, a good-length delivery just keeping a little low and skids under Duckett's bat.

Is a late fightback for Bangladesh on the cards?

  11. Eng 130-2published at 15.2 overs

Yep, Ben Duckett has got the message.

    Another scoop, another four.

Pressure on the bowler straight away.

Yeah, don't bowl full tosses to Jos Buttler.

He thrashes four more over cover to move on to 64 from 39 balls.

Taskin Ahmed responds well with a couple of slower balls but still 11 runs came from the over.

Time for England to kick on?

And now Duckett goes for the ramp as Taskin Ahmed bowls fuller, finding four more over the keeper.

They all make that shot look so ridiculously easy.

  16. Eng 115-2published at 14 overs

    Buttler 59, Duckett 9

There aren't many better duos than Ben Duckett and the sweep.

He plays it with remarkable ease and helps himself to four as England's dominance continues.

  17. 6 runs

    Eng 106-2published at 13 overs

    Back-to-back sixes!

He's striking the ball ridiculously well now, this one thumped over mid-wicket, and that's ominous for Bangladesh with still seven overs to go...

    Eng 100-2

    Ha, isn't he just ridiculous?

Buttler sets himself, clears the front leg and hits a flat six off a good-length ball over long-on for six to bring up his half-century and England's 100.

  19. Eng 89-2published at 12 overs

Ben Duckett is the new batter, and gets off the mark with a single first ball.

Jos Buttler is still going well on 41 from 29 balls, set up for a big finish.

    Malan c Shanto b Shakib 4 (Eng 88-2)

A brief innings for Dawid Malan as he holes out to long-on.

He's a player who likes to take his time to get in but Malan may have felt under a bit of pressure to get going, having come in past the halfway mark.

He attempts a six down the ground but iinstead perfectly picks out the fielder on the boundary.
