It might be doing Tongue a disservice to call that a drop. Paul Stirling hit it very, very hard. He barely had time to see it.

Is this a drop? Paul Stirling sweeps Leach's first delivery hard and in the air. Josh Tongue is at square leg and the ball just flicks his fingertips high above his head.

This is a very unusual bowling change. I think this is Ben Stokes setting a challenge for Paul Stirling.
Hmmm. Jack Leach is coming on inside the first hour...
Tongue has some sharp facial hair on his upper lip and around the chin. He's tall and with a high action seems to get decent bounce without being express in pace.
McCollum plays and misses to the final delivery - an 85mph ball outside off stump.
It's a good start from Tongue. His second delivery reaches Jonny Bairstow at shoulder height.
McCollum 11, Stirling 5
Stuart Broad is waving his arms - dictating something from his fielding position. He's very much the senior man in this England XI.
Here's a big moment... Josh Tongue is going to bowl for the first time for England.

I have taken enough stick about me at Wembley at the weekend. But you can definitely hear it in my voice, so that's a great start.
Cooky is croaking his way through this stint, commenting as Paul Stirling flicks Broad off his pads to the boundary. That at least gets the scoreboard moving again for Ireland.

Michael Conway: With Cook (Luton) and Vaughan (Sheffield Wednesday) both the worse for wear after playoff wins, we just need a Carlisle supporter in the TMS box for the full house...
You could make a good case that Matthew Potts is bowling better than Stuart Broad here but it's Broad who has 3-8 and Potts 0-11.
This was Broad's third wicket - the plan coming together perfectly for England.

Women's cricket edition: Alex Heart-ley, Dane van Knee-kerk.
Rachel, Leeds
Brian Brain would be an intelligent choice.
Roger Williams
This was the first wicket in that very eventful Broad over...
McCollum 9, Stirling 0
Broad waves to the crowd at the end of the over. It's a double-wicket maiden and could have been a triple.
Ireland are still in all sorts.

That just shows exactly what the Lord's slope does. You have got to get forward.
Wow.
It's missing leg!
"Clearly missing the bat," says the third ump.
This looks out.

Stirling had to review it. Again, playing around that front pad. Was there a nick?
And another!
Stuart Broad hits Paul Stirling's pad first up.
Up goes the finger. Stirling reviews...

Tector will be absolutely kicking himself.
That was bold, he was taking a couple of steps towards Stuart Broad and just works it off his hip straight to the man! Those catches are always tricky because they come at you so quickly.
Is that a bit of luck or is it a perfectly executed plan?
