Liam Dawson guides Tom Taylor past point to the rope for four to bring up Hampshire's third batting bonus point and move onto 63.
He and Keith Barker (29) have seven overs to get the 49 runs needed for a fourth point. Not sure these two will go out of their way to get it. Much rather build a comprehensive total steadily I'd expect.
Somerset 360-7 v Middlesex
Matt Henry certainly isn't hanging around... the New Zealander has already clubbed five boundaries at Lord's and he's reached 26 from just 13 balls.
Lewis Gregory has moved on to 23 and Somerset have their third batting point safely in the bag. They've got seven more overs to collect a fourth...
Glamorgan 123 v Sussex 231-4
Great battle between Aussie pair Michael Neser and Steve Smith - and the Glamorgan bowler almost got his man!
Smith edges low to first slip and it appeared to just about carry, but Timm van der Gugten is unable to scoop it up.
Meanwhile, James Coles has moved on to 59 not out, thrashing a wide delivery from Jamie McIlroy to the boundary to bring up the 100 partnership with Smith.

Gloucs v Durham 430-9
A 50 partnership for the 10th wicket as Paul Coughlin smacks Zafar Gohar over deep mid-wicket for six. A single follows to carry him to his half-century from just 43 balls faced.
It's his second in successive innings following 52 against Derbyshire last month.

Glorious timing by Paul Coughlin, who punches Ajeet Singh Dale down the ground - just missing the stumps - for four runs.
It's back to back boundaries for the Durham all-rounder as he carves the next away through the covers off the back foot.

Joe Leach tests out nightwatchman Will Davis with a bouncer but is pulled away for four.
The next one is a fuller length, but wide and Davis times it well to the cover boundary.

Ollie Pope stylishly cuts Michael Hogan to the rope at deep backward point to reach 4,000 first-class runs for Surrey and take the hosts into three figures.
He has 28, Dom Sibley has 38. The deficit is down to 177 and the run-rate is well above four an over. Ominous.

The innings almost comes to an end, though, as Ajaz Patel tries to pull a short one from Ajeet Singh Dale, is a fraction late on it and it flies off the edge and over the keeper for four.

Leicestershire have yet to add to their overnight score. They lead by 156 as Lewis Hill walks out to bat.

It's certainly a positive start by the Notts openers.
Haseeb Hameed collects his first boundary of the day by running Sam Cook past the slips and down to third man.
And Ben Slater greets the start of Jamie Porter's next by elegantly stroking him to the cover boundary.

Keith Barker helps himself to five off the opening over of the morning from Tom Taylor at Southampton.
He then moves to 25 with an edge off Jack White to the fence past the vacant third position.

Middlesex will be aiming to wrap up this Somerset innings quickly - and Tim Murtagh has given them a good start in his second over of the morning.
Craig Overton is the man to depart, the ball nipping back to trap him in front. Matt Henry makes his way to the middle to join Lewis Gregory.

Overcast and dare I say a touch chilly in South London as all-action Michael Hogan thunders in with his distinctive action for the opening over of the day at the Oval.
Five off it, as Dom Sibley moves to 36 from 74 balls and Ollie Pope gets a thick edge past third slip to the ropes to reach 24 off 41. A good platform to build on.

Jamie Porter has the ball for Essex and Ben Slater is on strike.
Porter's third delivery is short and Slater pulls it away for six and he then edges past the slips for four.

Durham are seven runs away from a fourth batting point but their last pair are in the middle.
However, it's not inconceivable to think they could go on to make 450 and bag all five batting bonus points. The last pair put on 54 in the first innings against Yorkshire last week.
Equally, Durham pushed along at a pace yesterday and were the highest scoring side in the country yet again. So if they don't get any more batting points it won't be the end of the world.
Their bowlers will no doubt be looking forward to having a go at the Gloucestershire line-up at some point in the near future.
