What a day, thanks for joining uspublished at 18:50 British Summer Time 14 June 2023
What a day of County Championship cricket we've enjoyed, a reminder of why we all love this old competition so much - and it's been a particularly memorable day for Division One leaders Surrey.
They fought from behind to achieve the second largest fourth-innings run chase in Championship history by knocking off 501 as Dom Sibley also broke records of a slower kind with his patiently-crafted 140.
We also enjoyed two thrilling finales in Division Two where Leicestershire beat Gloucestershire and all four outcomes were possible heading into the final few balls of Sussex's barnstormer with Worcestershire.
That's all from us today but make sure you head right back to the BBC Sport cricket homepage on Friday where we'll have coverage of the first Test of the Ashes plus a number of T20 Blast games in the evening.
