Has anyone else noticed the striking similarities between fall of wicket in Australia and England's second innings? Next wicket due in 15 runs' time...

Stokes’ run-up is slow. He looks like he’s going to stop halfway.
Ben Stokes is not quite at full pelt just yet.
Usman Khawaja eases him square for a single first up before a leg bye off Alex Carey's pad a few balls later.
The final ball of the over is a neat straight drive by Carey down the ground but James Anderson dives to cut it off.

Nick Dibley: Can someone explain how the last hour works please? Do we have to bowl all of the remaining 30 overs or not?
Yep, it was 52 overs plus the last hour. So the last hour will begin after 52 overs have been bowled - that's after 82 overs in the innings.
From there it will be 15 overs or an hour of play, whichever is later.
Only way they don't get bowled is if there is rain or bad light.

The Hollies is standing because Ben Stokes has taken his cap off.
What a reception.
Moeen Ali whipped out of the attack and Ben Stokes has ball in hand.
Take a breath...

I think the captain has seen enough and realised he has to bowl himself.
Joe Root continues for now.
He gives it a bit of air to Alex Carey, and the Aussie wicketkeeper connects sweetly off the meet of the bat, but the fielder at extra cover stops it.
The crowd thought that had gone flush into the hands of the fielder.

Here we go. Ben Stokes is going through his full warm-up now.

That was a pie. You don't need to take it on when you get deliveries like that.
Moeen Ali drops his fourth ball way way too short to Alex Carey who reacts by walloping it to the boundary for four with a clinical pull.
Australia need 79 to win.

Alex Carey gives the impression that he is ready to strike.
Ben Stokes turns back to Moeen Ali. There's spin out of the rough from the foot marks at both ends for England to exploit to a pair of left-handed batters.
Usman Khawaja whips Moeen's first ball off his legs for a single. There's brief interest in a second run but Ben Duckett covers ground quickly in the outfield at mid-wicket and gets the ball to Jonny Bairstow to stifle that.

Joe Root has bowled nicely. He's looked threatening and not bowled too many that the Australians can hit.
Joe Root, with a red cherry stain down the back of his right leg as measure of his endeavours to shine the ball, continues with his off-spin to this pair of left-handers.
His first ball to Alex Carey balloons up, but there's nobody at short leg. His fifth delivery spins and skids low.
Two runs from the over.

Ben Stokes had a long word with Ollie Robinson at the end of that over. There was then some sort of signal to Moeen Ali.

Just about to get on a plane home from Koln, its only 90 mins and I'm expecting an England win when I land at Heathrow.
Paul in Southampton
Remember that if we hadn't declared we'd now be running out of overs to bowl them out. You need time as well as runs to win.
Dave, Hull
I'm seeing the Aussie's all out for 240 here. Time to open a celebration beer in the sun.

The Tavare-esque stoicism from Usman Khawaja persists as he keeps out a maiden from Ollie Robinson.
He has now faced 500 balls in this Test.

I wonder if that might tempt the Australia batters to play a few shots before then.
