    Star of the Notts innings was debutant Will Young, who reached 145 before he was caught behind off Will Jacks.

    Derbyshire are closing the first innings gap on Sussex at hove, where the visitors are 375-8, trailing by 27.

    George Scrimshaw has hit three successive boundaries and is 13 not out. Alex Thomson is unbeaten on 19.

    Glamorgan are struggling in their rain-curtailed game against Leicestershire at Cardiff.

    The hosts are 110-7 and Matt Salisbury has taken 3-37.

    We're off for rain at New Road, where the Pears are 288 behind Yorkshire on 119-6.

    Helm offers a bit of width outside off stump and Whiteman will keep the strike with a single steered safely to third man.

    Bamber is bowling round the wicket - and Whiteman plays and misses a pull shot outside off.

    Done for pace there.

    His next shot is much more convincing, driving to cover point for one.

    Latham is fielding five-for in the first for Surrey since Azhar Mahmood did so against Worcestershire on the same ground 17 years ago.
