This partnership have bought up 50 in just under 13 overs.
Four singles from the over, the second of which brings up the fifty partnership between Harry Brook and Ben Stokes.
After losing three wickets relatively quickly to the short stuff, it was be needed restore a sense of calm.
England are quietly going about their business as the day heads towards its conclusion.
Two runs from Travis Head's over. Time for two, maybe three more before stumps.
As it stands, the game is delicately poised. England would have taken that after day one.

After Nathan Lyon's current record of 100 consecutive Test matches, Kraigg Brathwaite has played in 75 consecutive Test matches, Tom Latham has 74, both aren't even halfway to Sir Alastair Cook's record of 159.
More calm, composed batting from Ben Stokes as he pushes Josh Hazlewood through point for two.
He leaves the last couple in the over, including a bouncer.
Roughly 10 minutes until stumps, England trail by 148 with six first-innings wickets left.
That was a far less violent stroke than some we've seen from Harry Brook today!
Back to more conventional fields and bowling areas and Harry Brook guides the ball between slip and gully for four.
It may have gone finer than he wanted but the Yorkshireman will be happy with the result.
Stokes 11, Brook 34
Just one from the over. Things have calmed down again after a bananas hour or so.
Another 15 minutes left in the day and England seem happy to see out the day, not something we've seen them do much in the past year.
Trail by 156
We've got a delay as Ben Stokes is hit by a ball from Josh Hazlewood that doesn't get up as much as he expected.
He takes a minute before taking guard again and seeing off the last ball of a maiden over.
Travis Head will continue from the other end.
Josh Hazlewood back on and there is a slip and a gully in place for Ben Stokes.

Mitchell Starc is warming up. He’s going to have another burst before the close.
Four singles from Travis Head's over.
Just simple, smart cricket from England. No risks taken.
It's not what we think of as Bazball but it's just the ticket right now.
Harry Brook has a Major League Baseball sticker on his bat.
There have been a few of his shots today that wouldn't have looked out of place on a baseball diamond!
According to CricViz's expected runs and wickets model, England should be 153-6. It's a good job they aren't at that figure!
We're into the last half hour of another absorbing day at Lord's.
If England end the day four down, they'll feel they've done a good job of working their way back into the match after a, um, suboptimal first day.
If Australia can get another wicket or two, though...
Short from Pat Cummins and pulled superbly for four.
Harry Brook was in control of that one, he middled it and the ball went straight down, between the two fielders for four.
Harry Brook is still there for England but he needed a life after pulling Pat Cummins to square leg.
Fortunately for the England man, Marnus Labuschagne shelled the catch.
Stokes 9, Brook 26
Good start from Travis Head, he twirls his way through a maiden with his off spin.
There was an lbw appeal against Ben Stokes in there, too, but the ball was sliding down leg.
Nice to see a few deliveries in a row that pitched in the batter's half!

Ben Stokes is probably going to go hard here to force Australia to go back to the seamers.

I find it ridiculous to see the media and fan reactionary response to the slightest blip with this England team. Before lunch and when the openers were doing well you were loving it. Now they're four wickets down (but still in the game btw) they are terrible again. Fickle bunch English media/fans. I think they've done a good job to get things back on an even keel today and they are playing an excellent team.
