Huge wicket for Mark Wood and a change of field from England makes Steve Smith play that shot. Clever captaincy there.

Smith is annoyed! He knew straight away.
This has opened up the game again for England.

Mark Wood, you beautyyyyy!
Steve Smith, what have you done?
He looks to pull Wood away, but it doesn't get as high as he expects and he ends up gloving through to Jonny Bairstow.
Mark Wood has two. England have three.
Wood now has 100 Test wickets.
This has woken the crowd up again.
Mark Wood is replacing Jimmy Anderson.
Much better control from Moeen Ali. He goes for just a single off the over.

I don't mean to alarm any of you, but Marnus Labuschagne is starting to looked settled.
He gets a little bit of width from Jimmy Anderson and finds the gap behind point to pick up a rare boundary.

This passage of play has me a little worried. Labuschagne has been struggling out there, he doesn't look comfortable, he's not happy with the stumps and if Moeen Ali doesn't bowl well then he could bowl him into the comfy chair.

Not the greatest over from Moeen Ali.
He's a little short and it allows Marnus Labuschagne to rock back and cut through the covers on a couple of occasions.
Seven from the over.

The Aussies are ticking along but not really going at a fast rate. There's a little partnership building here which Australia need.
A two-over spell for Mark Wood as Moeen Ali comes on.
I wonder if Wood will replace Anderson at the other end.

The forecast has spurred England into action because they know they're up against it and it's forced their hand.

James Anderson finally concedes a run as Steve Smith works off his pads for a single.
Anderson is seeking reverse swing, but there's no signs of it so far as Marnus Labuschagne works for three through mid-wicket.
This partnership is worth 29 now.

Labuschagne is down on his knees thinking: "What did I do there?"

How did that not bowl him?!

How has that missed!?!
Some vicious in-swing from Mark Wood almost catches a leaving Marnus Labuschagne out, but it goes over middle stump.
Hands on head from all the England team.
Time for a drink. England will no doubt be discussing plans to end this partnership.
It's fair to say Ben Stokes enjoyed the 56-run partnership between Jonny Bairstow and James Anderson for the last wicket earlier...

I predict another three wickets will fall in the next hour and England will be in control for the win.

Jimmy Anderson is hiding the ball too. It's a serious skill to change the ball from your left to right hand at the final second of your run-up.
He finds a little bit of nip and it beats Marnus Labuschagne, who played it pretty well to be fair.
Anderson has now bowled three successive maidens. That's as many as Australia bowled in the entire England innings.
