  1. Aus 162-2published at 47 overs

    Target 384

Stuart Broad is done for now on his final day of professional cricket.

Mark Wood is on in his place and concedes just a couple to Steve Smith to start.

You feel Wood will have a big role to play today.

    You're in luck.

    Enjoy.

Well, Marnus Labuschagne has passed nine a little quicker than he did in the first innings.

    That took him 82 balls!

Marnus Labuschagne is definitely looking to be busier than he was on Saturday.

He clips Chris Woakes away through mid-wicket for four, before a streaky inside edge on a booming drive brings him a couple down to fine leg.

Moeen Ali does well at fine leg to stop the boundary with his boot. He wasn't going to get down to it with his groin.

England have to capitalise on these conditions.

  8. Aus 154-2published at 45 overs

    Target 384

    Productive over for Australia.

Stuart Broad sprays one down the leg side to give the tourists four byes, before Steve Smith latches onto a half-volley to drive away for four.

There's some movement still for England though.

  11. Aus 145-2published at 44 overs

    Target 384

Steve Smith is off the mark with a streaky outside edge, down to third, for four.

I wonder at what point we might see Australia shut up shop and play for the draw and series win.

I'm not suggesting that is now! But, it is an interesting question.

Chris Woakes now has 17 wickets in this series.

    Absolutely unreal.

    Khawaja lbw b Woakes 72 (Aus 141-2)

    Chris Woakes, you beauttyyyyy!

Brilliant from Woakes again, he's bringing out all his skills.

It's the wobble seam delivery this time and it straightens on Usman Khawaja, beats his defence, and cannons into his pad.

The technology shows it would have crashed into middle and leg stump.

    There's no bat.

England - and Chris Woakes - could have two.

  17. Australia reviewpublished at 11:36 British Summer Time 31 July 2023

    GIVEN!

Chris Woakes has got Usman Khawaja out lbw.

Or has he? The opener sends it upstairs.

  18. Not outpublished at 43 overs

    Aus 141-1

Yep, pretty poor preview from England.

It's hitting Marnus Labuschagne comfortably outside the line.

Encouraging for England though. There were two lbw appeals in the over, and Labuschagne was beaten on the outside edge too.

  20. England reviewpublished at 11:34 British Summer Time 31 July 2023

    Hmmm.

Has Stuart Broad got Marnus Labuschagne lbw?

"That felt real close to me," says Broad.

    Outside the line for me.
