47 overs are left in the day's play.
Glos 377 v Derbys 323-7
Two more wickets for Gloucestershire before 110 overs will yield a third bowling point and put them level on points with Derbyshire in the table.
Dom Goodman comes into the attack for Middleton at the Pavilion End.
The second ball is edged just short and wide of Ollie Price at slip by Leus du Plooy for a single.
Alex Thomson pulls a ball just short of deep backward square and that's another fairly streaky single.
Du Plooy gets a single via an inside edge to the on side and Goodman completes the over with a beauty that cuts back off the seam sharply, beat Thomson and flies over the stumps to the keeper.
Most threatening over by far since the new ball.
Lancashire 159-3 v Middlesex 194
A lovely cover drive from Dane Vilas gets him four off Ethan Bamber. He hasn't given up too many scoring shots.
It takes Vilas to 36. He will be keen for a good score as runs have been in short supply in 2023 for the former Red Rose skipper.
Gorvin b Revis 47 (Yorkshire 500, Glamorgan 273)
No. Andy Gorvin does not get his 50.
Matthew Revis rearranges his middle and off stumps - and Gorvin is gone for 47.
Jamie McIlroy is left stranded on a career-best 30.
It is also a career-best for Revis, who takes his fifth wicket for a first-ever first-class 'five-fer'. Easier to write that, than say!
Glamorgan will follow on - in approximately 10 minutes' time.
Sussex 262 & 344-9 dec v Leicestershire 108 & 49-2
Three successive fours for Colin Ackermann off Fynn Hudson-Prentice.
There are runs to be had for Ackermann and Rishi Patel with so many close catchers around.
Only 450 needed now!
Yorkshire 500, Glamorgan 269-9
Andy Gorvin and Jamie McIlroy reach their fifty partnership.
Gorvin is just three short of his 50. Will he get it?
Lancashire 147-3 v Middlesex 194
Jayant Yadav drops short and Luke Wells rocks back and sends it over midwicket for six.
That is enough to bring up a 50 partnership between him and Dane Vilas.
Glos 377 v Derbys 317-7
Shot! Alex Thomson is down the track to Ed Middleton, driving the leg spinner through wide mid on for four runs.
There are a few dark clouds swirling around the ground but we're safe for now.
Lancashire 141-3 v Middlesex 194
The umpires call for a box of balls and Ethan Bamber is handed a different one to resume his over.
Middlesex will hope that it works as nicely as the one England were given during that fourth innings agaisnt Australia at The Oval in July!
Glos 377 v Derbys 310-7
Leus du Plooy is batting with fluency and confidence as he sweeps the left-arm spin of Zafar Gohar from outside off for four runs.
Zafar Gohar turns one past leg and appeals for a legside catch but it's not out.
Change of bowling now as Ed Middleton replaces Josh Shaw from the Pavilion End.
Yorkshire 500, Glamorgan 257-9
After taking two wickets with the first two deliveries with the new ball, it has not been quite so effective since.
40 runs have now been taken off it by the Glamorgan last pair Andy Gorvin and Jamie McIlroy in 34 deliveries, to earn the hosts an unlikely first batting bonus point.
Gorvin is now on to 42, thanks to a six and the latest of his three fours, while McIlroy has plundered three boundaries himself.
Juat another 94 needed to avoid the follow-on.
Glos 377 v Derbys 304-7
Zafar Gohar appeals for LBW against Leus du Plooy, but that ball was turning a long way past leg.
The last ball of the over is short and driven off the back foot through the off side for four runs.
Josh Shaw is glanced behind square leg for one by Alex Thomson to take Derbyshire to 300 in the 91st over.
The third ball is full and driven by du Plooy through cover for four.
Lancashire 137-3 v Middlesex 194
Debutant off-spinner Jayant Yadav to open from the James Anderson end at Old Trafford.
Dane Vilas runs one out on the offside before Luke Wells tickles one down to the fine leg fence for four to move to 69.
Yorkshire 500, Glamorgan 238-9
After just one wicket in the morning session, Yorkshire found their touch almost immediately after lunch.
After taking the new ball, Ben Coad trapped Dan Douthwaite for 37 with his first delivery with it, then bowled James Harris first ball with his second.
But Andy Gorvin is still there, playing some shots and seeking an unlikely batting bonus point.
One more wicket though - and the hosts will be following on.
Kent 446 v Notts 265 & 58-1
Yazvendra Chahal comes into the attack for Aron Nijjar and concedes just a single off the first over of his new spell.
A brace of twos off Nathan Gilchrist at the other ned.
There is still rain in the air, the umpires are periodically looking up and the groundstaff are poised...
Sorry, folks. We're coming off. The umpires are staying on for now and hopefully the delay is a short one.
Lancashire 132-3 v Middlesex 194
Ethan Bamber has the ball in his hand to bowl to Luke Wells, who resumes on 65 not out.
He starts with a maiden.
Sussex 262 & 344-9 dec v Leicestershire 108 & 16-2
Leicestershire skipper Lewis Hill doesn't last long.
Four slips are waiting like vultures as Ari Karvelas runs in and Hill obliges as he edges it into the hands of Clark at second.
A wicket apiece for the Sussex opening bowlers.
Glos 377 v Derbys 292-7
Josh Shaw squares up Leus du Plooy as the Derbyshire opener plays and misses outside off stump.
Derbyshire have brought the deficit down to double digits and Gloucestershire need wickets and an innings lead for any realistic chance of forcing a win.
Bowled him!
Zafar Gohar strikes with the first ball of the 88th over. Anuj Dal is stuck on the crease and castled by a ball that drifts in and hits off stump.
Alex Thomson is in next.
Lancashire 132-3 v Middlesex 194
Lancashire players are undertaking the daily warm-up football game while Middlesex are in their whites doing bowling and slip catching practise as we await the resumption in a quarter of an hour.
It's probably a good time to give a quick update of how things stand at the bottom of Division One. This includes bonus points from the current matches.
8. Middlesex - 88pts
9. Kent - 88pts
10. Northants - 63pts
With Kent having enforced the follow-on against Nottinghamshire, this is a big afternoon for Middlesex.
Kent 446 v Notts 265 & 53-0 f/o
Ben Slater is getting his eye in here, as the opener is forward and across to Aron Nijjar to drive a width ball through cover for four.
That takes Notts to 49.
Steven Mullaney takes Notts past 50 in the 19th over with an off drive for four off Nathan Gilchrist at the other end.
