WICKET Libby c Robinson b Raine 57published at 10:46 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Worcs 117-2 v Durham

Nothing he could do about that.

A superb leg-cutter by Ben Raine finds the edge of Jake Libby's bat and it's an easy catch for Durham keeper Ollie Robinson.

Libby batted for just over two hours - spread over two and a bit days - faced 98 balls and hit eight fours.

Jack Haynes is the new batter - his final home game for Worcestershire before moving to Trent Bridge.

A magnificent innings by Karun Nair ends with a short ball.

    What an innings.

Can he come back to Wantage Road with Prithvi Shaw next summer?

He reaches the landmark with a back foot drive for four off the bowling of Tom Lawes, shuffling neatly back and across.

244 balls, 23 fours and two sixes.

A boundary off Tim Murtagh takes Will Rhodes to his first hundred of the season and his ninth overall, from 168 balls.

It's also the Warwickshire skipper's third ton at Lord's - he scored 118 against Middlesex five years ago and also contributed 156 when the Bears met Lancashire in the 2021 Bob Willis Trophy final.

  14. Postpublished at 10:39 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Lancs 12-0 v Notts

Not surprisingly after two days of rain, there doesn't look to be a great deal of pace in the wicket as Brett Hutton begins with a maiden to Luke Wells.

At the other end, Asitha Fernando seems to be pursuing a tactic of bowling on leg stump to Keaton Jennings and so far it's cost him 12 runs - eight of them from leg-byes.

  15. 50 runs

for Jake Libbypublished at 10:36 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Worcs 108-1 v Durham

Following yesterday's washout, Jake Libby wastes no time in collecting the four runs he needs for his half-century, steering Vishwa Fernando to the cover boundary.

It is a glorious morning at New Road - but is there enough time left in this game for Worcestershire to somehow force a victory over the Division Two leaders?.

Two more runs scored off the remainder of Daniel Bell-Drummond's over.

Now Jas Singh will bowl to Andy Umeed and his fourth ball is played from the crease and stroked through cover for four.

We might get a bit more poor weather later on this afternoon here, so let's enjoy this while we can.

  17. wicket

WICKET Thompson c Cox b Scriven 2published at 10:33 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Leics v Yorkshire 155

Leicestershire need only three deliveries to claim the final Yorkshire wicket at Grace Road.

After Will Davis completes the over he began on Tuesday evening, Tom Scriven has Jordan Thompson caught behind with the second ball of the next - a brilliant one-handed grab by Ben Cox.

The onus is now on the home batters to try and score quickly to earn a sizeable first-innings lead. They need to win this game to close the gap on second-placed Worcestershire.

  18. Play resumes at the Ovalpublished at 10:32 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Surrey v Northants 351-9

Karun Nair resumes on 144 not out in only his second game for Northants.

He'll get most of the plaudits for getting Northants to their highest first innings score of the season, but vital supporting roles were played by Hassan Azad, who ground out a 151-ball 48 at the top of the order, and Tom Taylor's free-flowing 66.

Number 11 Jack White managed a very neat drive for four as well!

    He's five not out.

One ball left in an over disrupted by poor light and rain.

Tom Lawes will bowl to Karun Nair.

  19. Postpublished at 10:31 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

  20. Bears bid to extend lead at Lord'spublished at 10:30 British Summer Time 21 September 2023

    Middlesex 121 v Warwicks 228-6

This will probably be the last time we see Tim Murtagh getting a day's play under way at Lord's.

The 42-year-old is running in from the Nursery End to bowl to Warwickshire captain Will Rhodes, who's just five short of his century.
