With the players off the field because of rain, the umpires order an early lunch at New Road.
Worcestershire lost Jake Libby early for 57, but Jack Haynes and Azhar Ali added 55 for the third wicket before both departed in successive Paul Coughlin overs.
If the Pears fail to reach 400 in this innings, Durham will be confirmed as Division Two champions.
