Why is Australia's fielding so good? There's a couple of differences in this England and Australia side. In the Australia side everyone is putting their bodies on the line and we spoke about that yesterday.

With the indoor practice in the UK there is limited time in the year you can do that fielding practice. In Australia there are more surfaces conducive to diving and in England there is hard ground and you probably don't want to be diving on it. It's hard to dive on the indoor hybrid ground. You could training with padding but it isn't quite the same.

Tammy Beaumont is still ticking along nicely at the other end. England will want her to bat through until lunch.

Tammy Beaumont looks really comfortable at the crease here but what we did see from McGrath is some in-swing so we might see the seamers getting some more movement.

Ash Gardner was expensive yesterday, she will probably have someone at deep mid-wicket region where it was knocked around a lot yesterday and we will see England taking her on.

She did have a sore finger last week in training and might struggle for control if that is still a problem.

Spin for the first time today as Ash Gardner's off-breaks are given a go.

Great use of the feet from Tammy Beaumont, who is looking imperious here, to Gardner's final ball as she skips down the pitch and thrashes a drive through the covers to the boundary for four.

Beaumont has added 31 runs to her overnight score of exactly 100 not out.

The message from England's head coach Jon Lewis has been to play with freedom. Australia will also be disappointed with the ball going through the slips earlier. They need to regroup and be attacking.

It was a shift in approach from Australia by bringing on Tahlia McGrath.

Tahlia McGrath is bowling a relatively tight line as Australia attempt to dry up the runs and build some pressure. She squares up Nat Sciver-Brunt with the final ball of the over, and a leading edge spoons up but with no close catchers it plops safely to the ground.

This morning has shown how easy it is to bat out there, the pitch is not offering anything for the bowlers out there.

Tammy Beaumont and Nat Sciver-Brunt have rotated the strike well and gone at four an over. Australia will be talking about how to bowl England out and how they can take a wicket now.

Annabel Sutherland, who is studying science at Melbourne University, might need new hypotheses to remove one of these two England batters.

The Aussie all-rounder's fourth ball after drinks beats the edge of Tammy Beaumont's bat, but otherwise it's fairly easy going for the England pair who pick up three runs off the over and breeze past the total needed to avoid follow-on.

A bit of liquid refreshment. England are on top so far today.

Tahlia McGrath's meds are given a whirl by Alyssa Healy as Australia continue to hunt for their first wicket of the day.

Nat Sciver-Brunt and Tammy Beaumont look fairly comfortable, though, and see her off without much alarm.

I'd be thinking about bringing on spin and trying to change up the pace of the game to try and slow down the scoring of the game.

The field is set back so England continue to knock the ball into the gaps.

From her final ball Annabel Sutherland attempts to shake up Tammy Beaumont up with a well-directed bouncer, but the England batter picks up the length quickly and hooks it away. There's a fielder out there in the deep to prevent the boundary, though.
