Tammy's timing has been impeccable this morning. They are the kind of confident shots you want to get back into the game.
Australia reach 82-0 at stumps to open up 92-run lead
England all out for 463 - trail by 10 on first innings
Beaumont (208) made England record women's Test score and became first to make double century
Opener beat Betty Snowball's 189 set in 1935
Beaumont's score is also England women's highest in any format
She overturned lbw decision on 152 and Australia failed to review catch on 61

It's fair to say that Tammy Beaumont has got her eye in with three boundaries around the clock.
Darcie Brown's second delivery is full and Beaumont drills straight down the ground for four. Beamount then cleverly opens the face and guides Brown's fifth ball down through third and before she finishes the over with a brutal pull through mid-on.

I think this is a big error here from Australia. It was catchable height and Jess Jonassen is left-handed too so that was her dominant hand.
First boundary of the day for England as Nat Sciver-Brown scythes at a short-ish delivery from Kim Karth outside off stump and the ball flies over the slip cordon.
That takes us so agonisingly close to a Richie Benaud's favourite score.
Here's that dramatic first ball of the day which Nat Sciver-Brunt overturned on review. From and England perspective it has, thankfully, been a little more sedate since then.

That batting session last night was another level, England dominated, and Tammy and Nat looked up for it. You can see little foot track where the bowlers are approaching the crease but there is nothing on the wicket here and that will take another facet out of the game.
After an overcast start to the morning in Nottingham the sun has started to burn away the clouds and is peeping through to give the crowd their daily recommended dose of vitamin D.
England remain circumspect as another maiden clocked up by Darcie Brown as Tammy Beaumont judiciously leaves and defends on merit.

It's a flat pitch but both teams could have bowled better, England and Australia will have reflected on that.
It is Kim Garth, who you may recall played for Ireland for over a decade before switching allegiances in 2020, who will bowl the second over of the day for Australia on day three.
She's very much on the money from the get-go with Nat Sciver-Brunt happy to leave and defend as she sees off a maiden over.

We'll see a different Australia today. I think they were below par yesterday. Kim Garth was amazing, Australia are a threatening side and they have that extra 10% that we didn't see that yesterday.
England's players are all smiles on the balcony after that decision went Nat Sciver-Brunt's way. She is happy to see off four more balls of Darcie Brown's over before cautiously flicking a single of her pads into the leg side.

A good thing for Nat is that Darcie Brown does swing it a lot. England fans will be a little bit more relaxed after that.
The ball-tracking technology shows it would have missed leg stump. Nat Sciver-Brunt breathes a sigh of relief.

What a sensational start to day! Ebony is giving this not out...
Darcie Brown is full and hits Nat Sciver-Brunt on the pad with her first ball.
It's given out on the field, but Sciver-Brunt reviews.
Tammy Beaumont and Nat Sciver-Brunt have a brief chat in the middle then punch gloves. Darcie Brown has the ball in hand at the top of her mark.

If England get bowled out then Australia are in the driving seat. England will want to win this but if they're in the position where they will lose then they have to go for a draw.

There's a great atmosphere around here. What I'm looking forward to is Nat and Tammy, they are so complimentary. Nat scores naturally at a run a ball and it is set up for England to quietly get into that first hour and then start to think about when to take the shackles off.
The players are making their way on to the field at Trent Bridge. We should be under way fairly shortly.

I can see the women playing like Bazball. Since Jon Lewis has come in it has been about being entertaining. There's a lot of girls here who like to play cautiously, they're now having to learn having to play through the gears.
