She began the Ash Gardner's over with a four belted down the ground and then threw the kitchen sink at final two balls and gets some runs of the edge.

Here at Trent Bridge. That was really special from Tammy. We loved it. More women's Test matches please ECB. One is not nearly enough.

Just four batters above Tammy Beaumont, who is 207 not out, on the all-time list of individual Test scores. Ellyse Perry's Ashes record score is next on the hitlist.

    Kiran Baluch (Pakistan) - 242 v West Indies (2004)

    Mithali Raj (India) - 214 v England (2002)

    Ellyse Perry (Australia) - 213* v England (2017)

    Karen Rolton (Australia) - 209* v England (2001)

Beaumont needs Lauren Filer and Lauren Bell to hang around if she's to go after the big one, though.

As the Australian's say: "That is an absolute jaffa"

You just feel now Australia sense there is a little moment. It was bowled wide of the crease and it squared up Cross completely.

Kate Cross goes for a duck after facing just two balls.

It's a beauty from Tahlia McGrath as Cross plays down the wrong line and the ball nips away to strike her off stump. Well bowled.

Tammy Beaumont doesn't even look tired. When I saw Beaumont dominate the most was against the spinners. Her footwork just showed how confident she was.

When you need a wicket you order a Tahlia McGrath yorker.

It was very hard to tell but it's a massive wicket for Australia and will stop them from feeling flat.

Sophie Ecclestone is back on her way to the pavilion.

It was full and straight enough from Tahlia McGrath and the ball-tracking technology shows the ball would have gone on to hit the stumps.

There was a little bit of debate about whether there was bat on it, but the noise on UltraEdge was the ball hitting the pitch underneath Ecclestone's bat.

As soon as Tammy Beaumont found out that the Test was at Trent Bridge it was something that she earmarked.

I've spoke to her about it in the build-up and she wasn't quite sure about her place in the side, she's in that sort of space at the moment where it is an uncertain time.

It's not nice, but at times that brings out the best in you and it brings out the drive and determination within you and it has done that in the build-up to this Ashes series.

She'll be loving this. She'll know she's had to work very hard in the last two days to do this but she'll be pretty happy at the moment.

    She's done it!

Tammy Beaumont's record-breaking innings continues. She has become the eighth woman in the history of the game to make a Test double hundred.

She reaches the milestone by flicking Annabel Sutherland off her hip for a single down to fine leg.

Beaumont takes off her bat and helmet and to salute the crowd, who are all on their feet, and drink in the acclaim.

    What a knock.
