Jack Rule: Tammy Beaumont goes and beats the great Betty Snowball's highest score!! What a great knock from Tammy! And for Daniel Norcross to call is on TMS is very special indeed.

Incredible special talent and incredibly special innings by Beaumont.

  6. Tammy Beaumount breaks England recordpublished at 109.1 overs

    Eng 415-6

There it is! Tammy Beaumount breaks England's individual scoring record!

New bowler Annabel Sutherland's opening delivery is full, Beaumount steps back in her crease and guides the ball into the gap between slip and gully and it hurries away for four.

She moves to 192, beating Betty Snowball's 88-year-old record of 189.

A big smile from Beaumount as she passes Sophie Ecclestone on the way back to her crease. She wasn't unaware.

  7. Eng 411-6published at 109 overs

Ecclestone defends the final three balls of the over. Tammy Beaumont will be on strike.

We're only eight minutes from tea. Will Beaumont even know she's two runs from beating the England record? If you were Ecclestone would you tell her?

Not a good shot from Amy Jones, a fuller delivery and Jones wanted to knock it to mid-wicket but instead went to mid-on and that's the last of England's recognised batter to go.

    Perry deserved that wicket.

A wicket falls... but it's Amy Jones!

The England keeper tries to hammer Ellyse Perry through mid-wicket but she catches a leading edge and the ball spoons up for an easy catch for Annabel Sutherland at mid-on.

Another wicket falls to this new ball - questions perhaps about why Australia persisted with the old ball for so long.

    In comes Sophie Ecclestone.

Tammy Beaumont now has the highest Test score against Australia. It was previously held by Rachael Heyhoe Flint for 179.

There are seven scores of more than 200 in women's Test cricket too.

Another crashing pull from Jones off Brown - she's peppering that leg-side boundary.

She takes a single from the penultimate ball. Beaumount steps up... clips the ball straight to mid-on.

Perry's bowling at the minute has been really inconsistent.

    Ooof, don't do that, Tammy!

She misses the pull off Perry's opening delivery - perhaps a touch slower than she expected.

She takes two through the covers and then a leg-side delivery races to the boundary - leg-byes or runs? It's runs! Beaumont moves to 188.

Jones defends the final ball of the over.

The TV cameras pick up a phalanx of binocular wielding spectators. Perhaps a group of ocular enhancement enthusiasts. They've had plenty to watch.

It is the second time that England have reached 400 against Australia in a Test match.

I'm a bit disappointed in the way Danni Wyatt got out as well, she looked so comfortable at the crease.

Ellyse Perry comes into the attack in place of Kim Garth, who struggled in her last over.

Beaumont takes the single to square leg, she's up to 181. A reminder - surely not needed - that England's record score is Betty Snowball's 189 at Christchurch in 1935.

Ian Benson: There surely can be no excuses not to have more Women's Test Matches following this? Top class contest between top class sides. Unfair that world class players only ever get 10 games.

  20. Eng 394-5published at 104 overs

Amy Jones is the new batter at number seven.

Brown sends a ball into her ribs and the England wicketkeeper staggers slightly as she defends it with a high bat.

No issues with the following delivery, Brown goes for a similar area and Jones pulls hard to the boundary.
