Ravindra Jadeja has been taken out of the attack, despite his two wickets.

India's bowlers have actually been impressive given they've been on a diet of T20 cricket for the last two months.

Here's another maiden, this time from Mohammed Shami to Cameron Green.
My mind has been warped by England's new style. I'm sat here wondering why they're not sending in a nighthawk.
Ravindra Jadeja bowls another maiden.
Marnus Labuschagne refuses to Bazball.
Travis Head's innings was eventful...

Zaheer Khan would be lethal on this pitch.
Cameron Green hits his first runs in emphatic fashion with a drive through the covers.

I played against Zaheer Khan in Inter School Tournament in Baroda, India. I was petrified of his pace and dropped down to bat at four rather than opening, hoping the new ball to have gone soft by then.

There's a guy waving a yellow CSK shirt with Ravindra Jadeja's name on the back. He's a popular man wherever he goes.

Umesh Yadav will be a very, very relieved man right now.
It's an ugly-looking shot. He was really reaching for it, trying to force it out of the rough.
A lot happened during his innings!
Here's Cameron Green, who scored just six from seven balls in the first innings.
The traditional opinion is he needs some time in the middle but we live in different times.

Horrible shot. I'm afraid that just felt it was coming.
I have no idea why he kept playing those big shots out of the rough. It wasn't working.
Head c&b Jadeja 18 (Aus 111-4)
Out this time. An ugly innings ends with an ugly dismissal - Travis Head slashing and chipping a catch back to Ravindra Jadeja.
Head is going to get a lot of bouncers and lot of spin from England this summer.
Deep Dasgupta
Former India wicketkeeper on Test Match Special
There's no sun in his eyes there. He just wasn't ready for it. He reacted far too late.
Jonathan Agnew

Wow.
That wasn't difficult at all.
Dropped on the boundary rope! Travis Head was trying to slog it away. Umesh Yadav should have taken it. It's a regulation catch.
He spills it over the boundary for six too.

Travis Head is getting a lot of the strike at the moment. Mohammed Siraj doesn't quite get the bouncer right in this over and the Australian can duck, swish and leave.
They've just shown another replay of Steve Smith's dismissal on the TV. I think Smith was watching in the dressing room. He doesn't look thrilled.

Jadeja has got this ball ripping out of the rough now.
Travis Head shoulders arms to one that is pretty wide and is almost bowled. It missed so it's a good leave, I guess.
I wouldn't want to chase 180 on this pitch, never mind 280.
Deep Dasgupta
Former India wicketkeeper on Test Match Special
India are going to test him out with the short ball but we also know that Travis Head isn't afraid to take it on.
But looking at the dryness and some of the natural variation we have seen from the pitch, Jadeja is a real wicket-taking option now.

If you're going to do this, you still need to be accurate. Mohammed Siraj pitches one closer to his own feet than the batter and it flies high above the keeper. Four byes.
