Rohit 14, Gill 9
Last summer we saw England's openers Alex Lees and Zak Crawley really attack big chases to try and knock a chunk off the total quickly. Without pressing their foot too far onto the accelerator, India are achieving something similar here.

Rohit is arguably one of the white-ball greats. That's an amazing shot and dare I say it, there is no one I love watching more than Rohit Sharma.
Oh to be able to hit a cricket ball like Rohit Sharma.
Four more.

Angus: Coming to watch day 5 tomorrow. Do you think India will try to play out for a draw or go for the win? I'm hoping the latter.
Target 444
If India do get close, it's going to be loud. Shubman Gill follows his captain in hitting two boundaries of his own.
Pat Cummins has a wry smile on his face as the Indian flags wave in the stands.

Glorious shot from Sharma. The on-drive is a shot of confidence.
Rohit Sharma kindly unfurls the on-drive just to make it look like I know what I'm talking about.
Beautiful.
Target 444
For me, Rohit Sharma is the most aesthetically-pleasing batter in the world. It just makes you feel nice. At the end of the over he sends Shubman Gill back, almost causing a run-out chance. Gill makes his ground and the pair giggle away afterwards.

It's a nice start from Rohit Sharma, he has to be disciplined and set the tone for the innings. Initially India will be thinking about survival and then once they get confident they will look to build and chase.
I like your confidence, Subu.
This must be on Shubman Gill's mind...

India to win by four wickets with Bazball cricket, you heard it first!
Subu
Target 444
There was no unusual behaviour by the ball in that over but there's plenty of time for that to change. Scott Boland is going to share the new ball.

Rohit Sharma's footwork here looks precise. Pat Cummins is angling it into the off-stump and Sharma knows to negate that he has to get out of the way when it's full and that's exactly what he does.
Flicked off the hip by Rohit Sharma! Listen to that noise.
Target 444
Here we go then.
This is for the chance to be Test champions of the world.
Pat Cummins will bowl the first over.

It it will be interesting to see how India play this. There's a question of the prestige of winning the World Test Championship, the prize money, not that will matter to these IPL stars, but India will want to win and they are going to be in the dressing room discussing the best way to do it.
The way I see it you will have be very strong in the first 20 overs, I do think the style of Australian bowlers and how they bowl really hard into the wicket will be tough and they have Nathan Lyon with 482 Test wickets.
There's homemade a sign being held up in the stands saying.
'The Ultimate Test starts now.'
Australia break from their huddle and the bowlers shake hands. The camera phones are all pointed at Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma as he comes down the steps from the dressing room.
Alex Carey is currently stood on the boundary edge while Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith fasten his shirt buttons for him.
As you do.
You just know the pitch is going to look a lot more lively than it has in the past three hours when Australia start bowling.
