  1. Aus 79-2published at 15 overs

Frustration for England. There were just building up some pressure on these Aussie batters but Nat Sciver-Brunt strayed ever-so-slightly full and on leg, allowing Beth Mooney to nudge the ball into the on-side and send it trundling away for four.

  2. Aus 73-2published at 14 overs

Sophie Ecclestone continues with her second over, bowling very straight to Ellyse Perry.

Just the three singles and a leg-bye off the over.

No you didn’t Sophie Ecclestone - wow!

    Stu in Swindon

That catch is pure Lydia Greenway!

    England needed that.

They could do with a bit of a boost, because Phoebe Litchfield was playing beautifully - and the noise has just crept up a level or two.

Phoebe Litchfield was looking good, it's brought a bit of spark on to that pitch, it was looking very flat.

  6. Aus 69-2published at 13 overs

Is that a momentum shifter? Sometimes it takes a moment of magic like that to turn a match around.

The England players definitely have more of a spring in their step after a punishing few overs.

Things won't get any easier though, Beth Mooney is the new batter for Australia.

What a catch! She can't believe that one.

Sophie Ecclestone is doing a Stuart Broad, hand over mouth situation.

That's a worldie though - what a catch that is from Sophie Ecclestone!!

Phoebe Litchfield goes for another aerial drive but Ecclestone leaps high into the air at mid-off and pouches the ball one-handed.

    It is an absolute stunner.

  10. Aus 69-1published at 12 overs

Sophie Ecclestone draws a loose, aerial shot from Ellyse Perry but the ball flies just wide of a diving Kate Cross at mid-off.

It would have been an absolute worldie if Cross had held onto that.

The drop of Ellyse Perry is not what England would've wanted. We all know how deep Australia bat and the only way they can stem that is to take consistent wickets.

She was told to warm up - because Sophie Ecclestone is into the attack.

Sophie Ecclestone is very aggressively swirling her arms at mid-off. I'm not sure if she's been told to warm up or if it's just a hint to Heather Knight.

  14. Aus 64-1published at 11 overs

    Perry 19, Litchfield 33

Everyone pauses for breath after that stunning exhibition of batting from Phoebe Litchfield, with just two runs from Nat Sciver-Brunt's latest over.

Australia just keep on producing world class batting talents.

Phoebe Litchfield's potential to be an Australia superstar has been spoken about since she was about 15 years old, and it's pretty clear why.

Her technique is stunning. A terrifying talent for 20 years old.

Australia will be the happier of the two sides coming out of the powerplay. Phoebe Litchfield has taken control of it and you feel like all the momentum is with Australia now.

  17. Aus 62-1published at 10 overs

Four boundaries in a row! Phoebe Litchfield is on fire!

The Aussie left-hander is so strong through the off-side and she ruthlessly punishes some poor balls from Lauren Bell by driving three times through the covers, before pulling the next delivery through square leg to the rope.

All the momentum is with Australia now.

Your margin for error against Ellyse Perry is so little so hopefully that dropped chance doesn't cause too much rue for England.

  19. Aus 46-1published at 9 overs

    Shot!

Alyssa Healy instantly latches onto a short ball from Nat Sciver-Brunt and pulls square through the leg-side for four.

That drop of Healy when she was on six will get more painful for every run she subsequently scores.

Phoebe Litchfield has been outstanding, she scored back-to-back fifties when she came into the ODI side against Pakistan.
