  1. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 46.3 overs

Jones run out (sub - Brown) 6 (Eng 259-6)

    Absolutely brilliant from Darcie Brown!

The Aussie quick has literally been on the field for two balls as a substitute for Alana King, but this is brilliant.

Amy Jones and England try and take a single into the covers, but the England keeper hesitates and Brown throws down the stumps at the non-striker's end.

    Superb.

  2. ouch!

    Eng 256-5published at 46.1 overs

    Ouch!

Amy Jones reverse-sweeps Ash Gardner towards Alana King at short third, but the ball pops through her hands and ends up smashing her in the nose.

She's going to go off the field to get some medical assistance.

No one needs me to tell them this, but Sciver-Brunt is just class.

  4. Eng 256-5published at 46 overs

Brilliant stuff from Jess Jonassen, going for just five runs.

This game - like much of the series - is just swinging one way and then the other.

We've gone from 18 runs and momentum with England, to just 12 off the last two.

Oh, Richard. Her career strike-rate in ODIs is 94.96.

There's nothing wrong with that when she scores the mountain of runs she does.

It's then up to the others around her, a la Wyatt, to score at a quicker rate.

Are we allowed at any point to discuss how Nat Sciver-Brunt scores far, far too slowly. She scores a lot of runs but too slowly to win matches. She couldn't score quickly enough to win the last game, and she will lose this game for England today. She still plays old-fashioned cricket.

    Richard, London

  7. Eng 251-5published at 45 overs

    Sciver-Brunt 115, Jones 2

    Oh, shot!

Ash Gardner had only conceded two singles from the over, but Nat Sciver-Brunt gives herself room and drives, off the stumps, through the covers for a much-needed boundary to end the over.

Ash Gardner is so dangerous, full and straight, she saw Wyatt move away, she made it a yorker. Exceptional innings from Danni Wyatt.

  9. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 44.1 overs

    Wyatt b Gardner 43 (Eng 244-5)

    Brilliant bowling from Ash Gardner.

The Aussie off-spinner goes really full, over the crease line and it gets under the bat of Danni Wyatt and spears into leg stump.

A very good 43 from 26 balls from Wyatt though. She's added a lot of impetus to the England innings.

The way Wyatt is playing in the middle proves she can bat anywhere.

  11. Eng 244-4published at 44 overs

A superb over for England! 18 off it.

Nat Sciver-Brunt adds four of them with a brilliant sweep to end the over.

Australia are regularly moving their fielders at the moment but England are still finding the gaps.

This is the danger of Danni Wyatt in the middle order, I like her opening the batting but she's so explosive.

  13. Eng 237-4published at 43.3 overs

    Four more!

Danni Wyatt finds the gap between third and point and the ball races away.

England have added 45 runs from the last 27 balls. That is exactly 10 an over.

  14. 6 runs

    Eng 233-4published at 43.2 overs

This is turning into a brilliant hand from Danni Wyatt.

She takes a step outside off stump this time and sweeps over square leg for six more.

    She's up to 36 off 21 balls.

  15. Eng 226-4published at 43 overs

Ash Gardner follows that six with three dot balls.

    Good work from the spinner.

Danni Wyatt has been the perfect partner for Sciver-Brunt, she turns ones into twos with her quick running.

  19. 6 runs

    Eng 226-4published at 42.3 overs

Oh my. This is a serious shot from Danni Wyatt.

She backs away to leg slightly and carves it over the cover for six!

    Love it.
