The Amateur Scorer: All is good we now have The Universe Cross coming in to bat!!
A single to start for Sophie Ecclestone.
There was a chance of the catch but it again fell short of mid-wicket.
This was absolutely brilliant from Darcie Brown.
A huge slice of fortune for England.
Kate Cross backs away, looking to hit over the off side, and the ball misses the bat and leg stump and races away for four runs.
England will take them however they come at this stage.
Ash Gardner finishes with a brilliant 3-39 from her 10 overs.
England have lost four wickets for 30 runs in four overs now.
Dean lbw b Gardner 2 (Eng 274-8)
Smashing into leg stump.
That's a bit of a surprise to be honest, it definitely didn't look quite right. It looked like it was going to stray down the leg side, but the technology shows it as out and England lose another.

I don't think this is out lbw.
There's no bat so the catch is off the table.
Has Charlie Dean been trapped lbw?
Australia want to take another look.
Alyssa Healy also took the catch if there's any bat.
Sophie Ecclestone tries to go again but skews it straight up in the air.
Thankfully for England Ash Gardner isn't able to get in quickly enough to take the catch.
12 balls left. England must look to score off every ball.

I wonder if Ecclestone has played any hockey? Her bat speed is brilliant.
Henry Moeran

The first ball she faces is deposited for the most fabulous of sixes.
Sophie Ecclestone! What a strike!
She gets down on one knee and slog sweeps Jess Jonassen over square leg to get off the mark with a six.
Love it.

What an innings that was. England needed a big total to threaten the Aussies at Taunton, it's a good scoring wicket.
Sciver-Brunt c Gardner b Jonassen 129 (Eng 265-7)
A brilliant knock comes to an end.
Nat Sciver-Brunt looks to find the boundary with just three overs left but she is only able to pick out Ash Gardner on the mid-wicket fence.
Still, though, a superb 129 off 149 balls. Back-to-back centuries in an Ashes series? Magnificent.

Re Richard @15:45 Oh honey, sweety, baby... No. Just no.
Toby, Bournemouth
I was really looking forward to watching Darcie Brown in this series, but I didn't think it would be for her fielding!
Another good over for Australia, with just five coming off it.
England have lost some momentum again.

Darcie Brown hasn't thrown a ball since the warm-up. Does she even have her spikes on? What a piece of fielding from the substitute. I'm sure her team-mates love that.
