Birmingham Bears and Worcestershire Rapids have 100% records in North Group - but it is the Bears who head the table by two points by virtue of having played a game more, a 21-run victory at Northampton on Wednesday.

Lancashire Lightning are level with the Rapids on six points, but have played two matches more and face a tough task against Durham tonight.

In South Group, Somerset are setting the pace with four wins out of four so far and are two points ahead of Surrey, who bounced back from a weekend defeat by Sussex by beating Hampshire Hawks.

Essex are also unbeaten but they have only played two games so far.
