    Birmingham 44-4 (target 175) v Derbys

Well, Birmingham Bears' 100% winning record is well and truly under threat.

The Bears are four down in the powerplay, with Sam Hain castled by George Scrimshaw before Zak Chappell picked up his second wicket, with Chris Benjamin miscuing a hook shot behind.

Pressure on, but Glenn Maxwell is still there.

    Glamorgan 147-3 v Kent - target 190

A second -wicket stand of 81 has come to an end with David Willey caught at backward square leg for 20 off Naveen-ul-Haq.

    Notts 123-6 v Worcs 226-5

Just five runs from the 13th over and the required rate for Notts is now climbing towards 15 an over.

Alex Hales is 70 not out but now Steven Mullaney is gone, caught down the ground off Brett D'Oliveira for four at the start of the next.

D'Oliveira now has 3-8 and he's only sent down seven deliveries so far in the innings.

  6. wicket

WICKET Jones c Jones b Wood 43published at 20:52 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Durham 119-3 v Lancashire - target 153

Michael Jones has departed for 43 from 33 balls to end a partnership worth 54 in seven overs and one ball.

Ollie Robinson remains on 24 but with the asking rate under a run a ball, he and Ashton Turner are just rotating the strike to keep them on track.

  7. 50 runs

for Tom Kohler-Cadmorepublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Somerset 128-1 (target 137) v Middlesex

Brutal stuff by Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who reaches his half-century from 28 balls.

The innings has included five fours and three sixes and Somerset are on the verge of their fifth win in a row.

  8. Postpublished at 20:51 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 120-1 v Leics 164-8

That last over from Josh Hull has really tipped things in Northants' favour and they now need 45 from 42 balls.

Chris Lynn followed his six at the start with three boundaries as it cost the left-armer 20. He has 79 not out from 53 balls.

  9. Postpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 118-5 v Worcs 226-5

Worcestershire keep chipping away at the Notts batting line-up and Michael Bracewell bowls Lyndon James for three.

Alex Hales is still there on 68, but with eight overs to go, it's looking like a lone hand for Notts now. They still need 109.

  10. Postpublished at 20:50 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Glamorgan 128-3 v Kent - target 190

Colin Ingram has been imperious off his pads, he's on 40 from 18, the majority of them have been swept away to the ropes.

Eight overs left, 62 needed for victory. Kent need to break this partnership asap.

  11. Postpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 106-1 v Leics 164-8

Northants reach 100 with a Chris Lynn single off Naveen-ul-Haq.

It keeps the Aussie opener on strike and he starts the next over by hammering Josh Hull over mid-wicket for six.

Pretty sure we once saw his compatriot Cameron White clear the rope in exactly the same spot many years ago.....

  12. Postpublished at 20:46 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Gloucs 37-3 v Surrey 124-9

It would be folly to count Surrey out, despite their modest score.

Grant Roelofsen becomes the third Gloucestershire batter dismissed as he is caught for 21 from Cameron Steel's first delivery.

Miles Hammond was the previous man to go, bowled by Chris Jordan off the inside edge for four.

  13. wicket

WICKET Moeen c Madsen b Zaman 16published at 20:46 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Birmingham 33-2 (target 175) v Derbys

    Big, big wicket for Derbyshire!

Moeen Ali is gone, tempted by a slower ball from Zaman Khan and he pats it to mid-off, where Wayne Madsen scoops up the catch.

Alex Davies is also back in the hutch, caught off Zak Chappell, but Glenn Maxwell is out there with 16 not out.

  14. Postpublished at 20:44 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 109-4 v Worcs 226-5

Alex Hales sweeps Mitch Santner for a single as the Notts total reaches 100.

There is a straight six for the opener two balls later and he is 61 not out off 28 balls with 118 more needed from nine overs.

  15. wicket

WICKET Rossington c McDermott b Currie 23published at 20:44 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Essex 27-1 v Hampshire - target 215

Adam Rossington is given out caught behind but he's not hit the ball. Scott Currie's delivery has missed the bottom edge of his attempted pull but skimmed the bails but not removed either. There was a noise. Extraordinary.

Still, Hampshire won't mind. He'd made 23 from 12 balls.

Dan Lawrence is the new man.

  16. Postpublished at 20:43 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Somerset 106-1 (target 137) v Middlesex

Having said Tom Banton's luck appeared to be in, the Somerset opener has now retired injured on 27.

It hasn't disrupted the home side's rhythm as they coast towards victory, though. Tom Kohler-Cadmore is striking the ball beautifully and he's reached 42 from 30 balls, with skipper Tom Abell 11 not out.

There are 10 overs left but Somerset won't need many of those.

  17. 50 runs

for Chris Lynnpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 93-1 v Leics 164-8

Full by Callum Parkinson, but Chris Lynn squeezes it away through backward point for four and reaches 50 from 42 balls.

It's a sixth boundary for the Australian, who has also hit two sixes so far.

Another 72 needed from nine overs.

  18. Postpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 99-4 v Worcs 226-5

    Six and out.

Notts lose their second wicket of the 10th over as Tom Moores is caught by Ed Pollock off Brett D'Oliveira.

It was short of a length but he picked out the fielder at deep mid-wicket, who barely had to move to take the catch.

    Careless.

  19. Postpublished at 20:39 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Durham 96-2 (target 153) v Lancashire

Michael Jones (24) and Ollie Robinson (17) are steadily dragging Durham towards three figures. They have added 30 in just over four overs.

Nine overs to go, 57 runs required.

  20. Postpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 99-3 v Worcs 226-5

Suddenly, the Outlaws have been ambushed.

They lose their second wicket in successive overs as Matthew Montgomery tries a reverse sweep and top edges a catch off Brett D'Oliveira's leg-spin.

Tom Moores out of the hutch now to join Alex Hales and he belts his second ball over mid-wicket for six. Confident.
