    Glamorgan 87-3 (target 190) v Kent

Wes Agar has taken an incredible diving one-handed catch at fine leg to get rid of Kiran Carlson for 17 off the bowling of Grant Stewart.

If you want to see it back, may I direct you to the Louvre...

Spitfires just starting to get a grip on this chase, though Chris Cooke and Colin Ingram are more than capable of winning games on their own, of course.

11 overs to come. 103 required.

  2. 6 runs

Postpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 72-1 v Leics 164-8

Northants cruising along very nicely now and Chris Lynn ends the ninth over by smashing Colin Ackermann over mid-wicket for six.

He is 40 not out and the Steelbacks need 92 from 64 balls, with nine wickets remaining.

  3. Postpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Birmingham 14-0 (target 175) v Derbys

Solid start by the Bears as they chase this target of 175.

Moeen Ali, in his first appearance of the tournament, is at the top of the order and he's just crashed Zaman Khan to the point boundary.

Alex Davies has struck a four as well, only just clearing the leg-side field.

  4. Postpublished at 20:35 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 88-2 v Worcs 226-5

Notts lose their second wicket but no, it isn't Alex Hales.

Colin Munro's bottom hand comes off the handle as he tries to go big down the ground from the bowling of Pat Brown and all Kashif Ali has to do is stand his ground, wait for the ball to arrive and pouch the catch - which he does.

  5. Postpublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Essex 15-0 (target 215) v Hampshire

Adam Rossington opens the innings with a four and a six off Chris Wood and Essex begin their meaty chase with 15 off the opening over.

  6. Postpublished at 20:33 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Gloucs 28-1 v Surrey 124-9

The only way Surrey can win this game is by taking wickets and there is the first of them as Ben Charlesworth slices Sam Curran to Chris Jordan at mid-off and is out for 11.

Slightly unnecessary shot, perhaps, and it brings Miles Hammond to the crease to join Grant Roelofsen.

  7. Postpublished at 20:31 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Glamorgan 68-2 (target 190) v Kent

Kent are using their sixth bowler in just their eighth over as Jack Leaning comes on to bowl some off-spin, but they have stemmed the flow of Glamorgan runs, at least.

  8. Postpublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Durham 67-2 (target 153) v Lancashire

Graham Clark was pinned lbw by Tom Hartley for 26 from 14 balls and now Alex Lees has been bowled by Liam Livingstone for 28 off 18.

Durham are 67-2 after seven overs. 86 needed to win from 78 balls with eight wickets remaining.

  9. 50 runs

for Alex Halespublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 83-1 v Worcs 226-5

Alex Hales has to settle for a couple of runs off Mitch Santner - denied a boundary by a brilliant diving save - but reaches his third successive T20 50 from just 21 balls.

He already has two sixes and seven fours and Worcestershire need to see the back of him as quickly as possible.

  10. Postpublished at 20:27 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 50-1 v Leics 164-8

Northants have lost their first wicket, with Emilio Gay caught behind off Naseem Shah for 13 as he tried to dab it down to third man.

Chris Lynn, though, is giving it the big wind up now and crashed a couple of fours off Naveen-ul-Haq before a single ends the sicth over and takes the Northants score to 50.

Lynn is 30 not out from 26 balls.

  11. Unbeaten Somerset cruisingpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Somerset 58-1 (target 137) v Middlesex

    Tom BantonImage source, Rex Features

Tom Banton has ridden his luck so far - he dabbed one fractionally over the slips and then top-edged Tom Helm but the ball somehow eluded the fielder coming in from long leg.

Banton, however, is 25 not out from 16 balls at the end of the powerplay and Somerset need just 79 more to complete a fifth straight win.

  12. wicket

WICKET Northeast c Cox b Hogan 14published at 20:25 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Glamorgan 62-2 v Kent - target 190

Sam Northeast had just been put down by Michael Hogan after chipping back to the bowler but the 42-year-old gets his man immediately after as Northeast mistimes one into the Cardiff sunshine for Jordan Cox to take a neat catch at long off.

Colin Ingram and Kiran Carlson are in the middle. 64-2 at the end of the powerplay.

  13. Postpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 76-1 v Worcs 226-5

What an exhibition this is by Alex Hales.

He greets the introduction of Pat Brown with four through point, then flicks fine for another four.

The opener isn't finished yet and goes over cover for his third boundary of the over.

Hales has 46 from 18 balls.

Notts need 151 from 14 overs.

  14. wicket

WICKET Byrom c Cox b Stewart 43published at 20:23 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Glamorgan 51-1 v Kent - target 190

Eddie Byrom has had a lot of fun for his 43 off 18 balls but his fun is over at the end of the fourth over. He's given his side a fine platform on which to build.

    Kiran Carlson joins Sam Northeast.

  15. Postpublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Gloucs 16-0 v Surrey 124-9

    Sam CurranImage source, Rex Features

Gloucestershire are under way in their bid to chase down the moderate target set by Surrey.

Sam Curran's opening over is tidy but Grant Roelofsen crashes a maximum over cover off Gus Atkinson and Ben Charlesworth ends it with a boundary.

  16. Essex set 215 to winpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Essex v Hampshire 214-8

Liam Dawson smashes Simon Harmer for three sixes in succession before holing out to Daniel Sams in the final over for 19 from five balls.

James Vince's imperious 103 from 48 balls has set up a thrillng chase on a Friday night in Chelmsford.

    Box Office stuff.

  17. wicket

WICKET Clarke c Bracewell b Pennington 25published at 20:18 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 58-1 v Worcs 226-5

A pull and a ramp bring Joe Clarke two fours off Dillion Pennington but he then departs in tame fashion, helping a short ball straight to the fielder at short fine leg.

Good start by the Outlaws, though.

  18. Postpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Northants 34-0 v Leics 164-8

Back to back Emilio Gay boundaries off Naveen-ul-Haq to end the fourth over of the Northants Steelbacks' innings. Leicestershire could do with a couple of quick wickets to put a little doubt in the home dressing room.

  19. wicket

WICKET Smeed b Helm 26published at 20:18 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Somerset 39-1 (target 137) v Middlesex

Somerset's progress is finally checked as Will Smeed, having struck 26 from 13 balls, tries to make room against Tom Helm and pays the price for miscalculating.

Now the home side have two of their numerous Toms at the wicket - Kohler-Cadmore joining Banton.

  20. Postpublished at 20:16 British Summer Time 2 June 2023

    Notts 48-0 v Worcs 226-5

If there is one team that would not be fazed by a target like this, it would be Notts Outlaws.

Alex Hales slices Michael Bracewell through point for four before advancing down the pitch to find the seats beyond long-off.

Hales has 33 from 13 balls and this is very similar to what Bracewell and Brett D'Oliveira did to the Notts attack at the start of the Worcestershire innings.
