    So that's the line-up for Finals Day decided. An all South Group affair with Essex, Hampshire, Somerset and Surrey all going for the trophy next Saturday at Edgbaston.

    Essex will play Hampshire in one semi-final and Somerset take on Surrey in the other.

    Surrey reach Finals Day for the eighth time with an ultimately comfortable win over Lancashire Lightning at Old Trafford.

    Needing 19 off the final over, Sean Abbott only conceded five as the home side suffered their first home T20 defeat since September 2020.

    Laurie Evans (70) and Jason Roy (50) were the key to Surrey setting a 180+ target with a second-wicket stand of 72 in eight overs.

    Lancashire reached 97-1 in the 11th over but lost momentum after Jos Buttler fell to spinner Dan Moriarty for 42.
