  1. 'Finding ways to win'published at 17:50 British Summer Time 18 August 2023

Northern Superchargers' Kate Cross on Sky Sports: "Yeah [I thought I was gone], nine times out of 10 you're catching that.

"So I felt a bit for Tara because that meant that the Spirit can't qualify and you could see how disappointed she was.

"But we're just finding ways to win at the minute. So it's great to be in the Superchargers camp.

"The way that we've been bowling has been fantastic, as a unit, everyone is chipping in. Then with the bat, Phoebe [Litchfield] has been leading the charge - batting right-handed and left-handed and making it look really easy.

"We've spoken about momentum in tournaments like this. We've had a bit of a break and to get through to the eliminators is absolutely brilliant."

  2. 'A team win'published at 17:47 British Summer Time 18 August 2023

Match Hero Phoebe Litchfield: "I'm so glad we just got it done in the end. Georgia Wareham, Jemimah [Rodrigues] at the top and then Kate Cross at the end, it was definitely a team win.

"It has been awesome to score runs and win games. I've loved my time at Superchargers. To get into the knockouts is really exciting and I'm really keen to get back down to London and take on whoever we take on.

"It's a dream come true to play at Lord's. I remember coming here aged 10 so to be on this side is really special.

"I just do standard practice. I'm not the biggest hitter so I try and hit different pockets."

What a remarkable finish. Just as the Superchargers looked to have won it, they nearly threw it away.

Kate Cross could have been stumped and then really should have been caught by Tara Norris. It was a sitter.

London Spirit are now out. So, too, are Manchester Originals.

    Great reactions from Richa Ghosh!

Alice Davidson-Richards won't want to see this one again, though. She half-committed to a scoop shot but Sarah Glenn found a bit of extra bounce.

That surprises the batter and she ends up playing a nothing shot. The ball flicks off the glove, onto her body and loops up.

Ghosh reacts very well behind the stumps and dives forward to take the catch.
